I really have enjoyed using the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers foundation. I switched to this mineral foundation (after using another popular mineral foundation) to see if I could get natural coverage at a reduced cost. I actually feel this product looks better on my skin than more expensive mineral make up brands. It does not have that chalky feel I have found with other mineral brands. I use a quality brush to apply the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers foundation (it is packaged with a sponge applicator). The foundation gently blends away imperfections. I like that it is "pressed" into a compact because it makes it easier/cleaner for travel. My only complaint is that the packaging is a bit bulky because it includes a mirror in the base of the compact. There are two shades for fair skin and I prefer the Natural Ivory.

I've tried one expensive brand, a couple of drugstore types. This one wins, hands down. The others are messy and/or hard to apply. I like the compact form. Easy to carry, doesn't "fly" all over when you're applying it. Covers well, although not as thoroughly as a liquid foundation, but I only use a dot of liquid for the occasional red spot, anyway. (You can get a bit more coverage for a tiny area like that by actually applying this with the tip of a finger.) The bamboo Eco brush works well with this product.

After trying many different mineral powder foundations, this is without a question, the best of the bunch. It goes on smooth and stays looking nice through sweaty workouts. It is nice enough to use both for everyday use and going out at night. I use a brush to apply it to keep the application light. As a fair blond this color is perfect. The SPF 20 is a plus as is the reasonable price. Couldn't be happier with this foundation.

I was hesitant to buy this because I already have several of the major brands' mineral powder make-ups, but the reviews were so good I decided to try one. I'm so glad I did. Neutrogena's mineral make-up is superior to every other one I've tried. It goes on very quickly and smoothly with no powdery build-up area. It looks great! I highly recommend it!!

I have used BareMinerals, Pur Minerals and a few others. But I was disgusted when I found out that they use a product called Bismuth Oxide (something like that) in the makeup as a "filler". I never got perfect coverage with them. I am a light makeup wearer, I want it to blend and cover, but look natural. I notice with BM it would show around my nose and a few other spots that it would bunch. So looking at the great reviews of Neutrogena and the FANTASTIC price I decided to give it a try. I love it! I don't use the sponge, I use a brush to put it on, I just prefer using a brush. But I think it has great coverage, you don't feel it's on and it looks great! I couldn't be happier.

This makeup covers well and stays on while looking natural

I have very sensitive skin and this is great.

Light, natural looking, absorbs oil and provides coverage from lightest (just reduces shine) to moderate. I use a soft brush rather than the included pad to apply it. Does not make my skin break out, like most makeups do.

I have tried many other mineral foundations and this is, by far, my favorite. I have generally dry skin, but an oily t-zone. This foundation evens me out completely. Even after hours, when I'd normally start seeing a shine, there is nothing but smooth, even-toned skin. In the winter, I definitely layer on the moisturizer before applying this foundation. It can become dry and flaky if your skin is not prepared, but that seems to be true with any powder-based makeup. There's nothing better for the price.

I used this powder foundation for the first time this morning and I LOVE it. It's one quick and easy step, no need to powder your face after. I tried the mineral powders and they are just a mess and made my face look cakey. This product is great for sheer to medium coverage depending on how much you put on. I use a Neutrogena face lotion before and that really helps the makeup set nicely. I WILL buy again!!
