I've been searching for new foundations, but this Neutrogena Mineral Sheers foundation in Natural Ivory keeps me pretty happy. I've been using it for about 3 years now. I previously used one of the brand name mineral foundations and found this Neutrogena was more natural looking for my complexion. I don't use the sponge applicator. I use the Eco Tools Kabuki brush. You get a fine, light application of product that gives you a very natural look. It minimizes uneven skin tone while allowing you to look like you aren't wearing foundation. And it's quick and easy to apply.

This stuff made me break out but I have extremely sensitive skin. I would recommend it for someone who's skin isn't as sensitive as mine. It's easy to apply, and is a great shade for fair skinned people. I have dark hair brown eyes and fair skin this shade is perfect. too bad I can't use it anymore.

My skin is always in an odd predicament. I have oily, acne prone skin but I strangely have really flaky skin. I read that a mineral foundation won't cling to flakes like liquids and would brush over them to blend with the rest of your skin. With this mineral foundation, it was not the case--in fact, the exact opposite. It covered like a straight-up powder. I even spent good money on a good quality brush specifically for this type of foundation application. That made no difference.

This foundation just didn't do it for me. It clung to my flakes and gave my face an overall dry appearance. Also, before I had a chance to wash it off, it made my face extremely itchy. This one just doesn't stand up to mineral foundation expectations.

This product goes on very evenly. It doesn't clump and make your skin look dry. I use my Lancome makeup brush and it works wonderfully well together. Very light and natural, may need to touch up during the day (on your chin,etc) but is so easy to apply. Love it.

This is a very high-quality mineral makeup that's available at the drugstore. The ingredients are simple and pure, and I love that mineral makeup provides good coverage and sunscreen in one. I got the Natural iIory color and it was the perfect match for my figure to medium cool-toned skin. I love that it's a pressed powder--loose powders are so messy and hard to control. I have also used the Physicians Formula pressed mineral powder. I think the Physicians Formula powder has better coverage, but all the colors look so unnatural, I couldn't find any to match my skin tone. I also think the Physicians Formula powder has longer-lasting oil control. I just wish that Neutrogena powder had a little bit more coverage, and I'm curious to see how long this compact class since I feel like I have to put a lot on my face to get good coverage.

I really have enjoyed using the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers foundation. I switched to this mineral foundation (after using another popular mineral foundation) to see if I could get natural coverage at a reduced cost. I actually feel this product looks better on my skin than more expensive mineral make up brands. It does not have that chalky feel I have found with other mineral brands. I use a quality brush to apply the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers foundation (it is packaged with a sponge applicator). The foundation gently blends away imperfections. I like that it is "pressed" into a compact because it makes it easier/cleaner for travel. My only complaint is that the packaging is a bit bulky because it includes a mirror in the base of the compact. There are two shades for fair skin and I prefer the Natural Ivory.

I've tried one expensive brand, a couple of drugstore types. This one wins, hands down. The others are messy and/or hard to apply. I like the compact form. Easy to carry, doesn't "fly" all over when you're applying it.

Covers well, although not as thoroughly as a liquid foundation, but I only use a dot of liquid for the occasional red spot, anyway. (You can get a bit more coverage for a tiny area like that by actually applying this with the tip of a finger.)

The bamboo Eco brush works well with this product.

After trying many different mineral powder foundations, this is without a question, the best of the bunch. It goes on smooth and stays looking nice through sweaty workouts. It is nice enough to use both for everyday use and going out at night. I use a brush to apply it to keep the application light. As a fair blond this color is perfect. The SPF 20 is a plus as is the reasonable price. Couldn't be happier with this foundation.

I was hesitant to buy this because I already have several of the major brands' mineral powder make-ups, but the reviews were so good I decided to try one. I'm so glad I did. Neutrogena's mineral make-up is superior to every other one I've tried. It goes on very quickly and smoothly with no powdery build-up area. It looks great! I highly recommend it!!
