I have tried several other brands of mineral powders, but this is my favorite and have been using it for a while. It does a very good job of evening out my skin tone, is very easy to apply, and a great value for the price. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup, but this is a product I never skip! I absolutely can't stand the feel of liquid foundation on my face, nor do I want to spend the time to put it on, so this product is an awesome alternative. I use this all over my face, then apply blush or bronzer to my checkbones with a brush to add a bit of color. I keep one in my purse for touch-ups, though I've found I rarely need to do so unless it's been hours and hours since I put it on. As with any powder-based makeup, it's important to moisturize your face well before applying, and use a light hand to avoid getting too much of the mineral powder in any creases in your skin. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a way to even out their skin tone without the heaviness/messiness of a liquid foundation.

I have tried a lot of mineral powder foundations out there (such as Bare Minerals Matte, Mary Kay powder, Honeybee Gardens, Aveda pressed, Physician's Formula, Maybelline etc.). This is my "go to" foundation from now on! I hope they never stop making it. Here is why I love it:
-Quick application (only need one product to cover all my imperfections even acne or small veins!)
-Stays put even during a 12 hour shift in the hospital! Keeps my face matte (starts to shine a little after 6 hrs but I can re-apply or blot without any smudging).
-Nice, natural looking color-not cakey or heavy but can be applied more often for increased coverage.
-Does not cause break outs or irritations.
-Way cheaper than all the other brands out there but still a good quality brand (made in USA) which I can trust.

I have a much more expensive powder foundation that I've been using and still love it best. However, this stuff is really great for the price. It's excellent for everyday use. I use it alone when I'm pressed for time or just want to even things out a bit. When I want a more perfected look, I use it with the liquid mineral sheers. It's good enough that I use it alone 90% of the time!

I originally bought this because I thought that it would be perfect to cover my acne while not aggravating my sensitive skin.The opposite happened! I broke out badly on my cheeks after using this for only a week. The sponge applicator started to smell funny, too (even after washing it with a mild antibacterial soap). I will not buy this again.

On the plus side, it does go on smoothly, covers moderately well, and matched my skin tone.

I really like this foundation. It feels good on my skin and covers my imperfections quite well. I tried Bare Essentials foundation a couple of months ago and it didn't cover well at all and it made my face look like I'd been slapped with powder. This doesn't. It blends easily and doesn't leave a line of demarcation. Plus the coverage is really great. I love this stuff. I hope Neutrogena keeps around for a long time!

WOW! I have tried all the mineral make-ups out there and this is right up there with the pricey ones. Even with my dry forty-something skin it's nice and smooth. I need the pressed compact form (only have use of one hand and can't deal with the loose powders) and this is perfect. I am pretty fair and this shade worked out nicely.
