Bottom Line: recommended

This cleanser smells great, made my skin look healthier, and did help with my greasy T-zone, however, it did little for my acne. And it dried out my skin a little, I have eczema. On the plus side it did not irritate my skin. For now I only use this in the morning to help with my greasy areas, and at night use a stronger cleanser for my acne.

Somehow I expected it to be "oily", the idea of anything "olive" sounded like olive-oil. I was willing to give it a try as my skin is super-sensitive, dry, flaky, irritated, and I break out. This product is so gentle, it cleanses without drying out my skin. Leaves skin clean and my t-sone doesn't get shiny as quickly as with other products. No irritation whatsoever. Everybody's skin is different, but I definitely recommend trying it!

This cleanser feels like nothing more than a glorified hand soap. My skin did not look or feel any nicer than usual and I even feel like my fine lines and pores are more visible after using it for a few weeks. The scent seems like its supposed to have a botanical quality but really it just turns me off. Also, contrary to what an other reviewer stated, this product is not all natural. The label reads that the anti-oxidants are all natural but whats the point when the other ingredients aren't?

This one is just right !

I have to say that I stumbled upon this wonderful find at a local store. Than after using it I checked to see if this site carried it. Since the bottle said "new", I wasn't sure how new. I would so recommend this to anyone who wants all the benefits of a fantastic cleanser minus the long list of chemicals and inflated price.You need a little of the cleanser to do the job.It makes your skin feel clean, pampered and silky to the touch. My skin is on the sensitive side (,besides having allergic reactions certain ingredients). I found it very difficult to find something that I would be able to rely on. But, I finally did! And I hope St. Ives keeps this in their line of products for a long time. And as far as any negatives about the Olive Cleanser......I can't think of a one.

I love this cleanser. It removes makeup completely and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I do not, however, like the pump. It's difficult to use when your hands are wet. I'd rate it higher if not for the pump.

Ive been using this product for almost three months now and Ive noticed a decline in the condition of my skin. When I was using my previous facial cleanser my face seemed to glow after washing, but after using this product my face is dull. I figured out about two months after using this product that it was NOT deep cleaning like the package stated. I would use astringent after washing my face and the cotton pad would be completely yellow. I dont use a lot of makeup either, just a light dusting of powder. Ive also noticed an increase in black heads and my skin is now breaking out, which it didnt do before I used this product. Ive been patient, but Im going back to my previous product.

Probably the most fabulous cleanser I've ever used, and trust me, I've tried most of them. Cleans gently but completely, rinses off with no residue, and leaves my skin squeaky clean and soft. There is really nothing better!!

Most amazing cleanser I have used. I had to try it because it's new and it's all natural. No parabens or harsh chemicals. It is absolutely amazing, it smells great and it leaves your skin felling amazing. I used to have acne and I no longer have thanks to this product. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants clear, healthy skin for life. Gets rid of acne, I have been using it for two months now and I have no acne!! I am very pleased and satisfied with this cleanser. I have sensitive/acne prone skin that can dry out easily from harsh cleansers. So, I look for a cleanser that will clean thoroughly without leaving me dry. Previously, I had been using Cetaphil normal-oily, but after trying the St. Ives Olive Cleanser, I discovered Cetaphil was making my post-acne marks more pronounced. St. Ives truly cleanses me thoroughly, my skin is not tight but is left soft, and I do not experience any redness or breakouts after cleansing.
