I use Smashbox Photo Finish in the mornings in place of my day cream! I have oily skin, so the last thing I want is extra products on my face. Photo finish makes my skin look flawless with foundation on top of it. 1 oz should be more like 5 oz for the price.

I'm in love with this product, my makeup looks flawless. I've recieved many complements. I tell everyone. Have bought it twice & will continue. Just purchased the tinted version, can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow!

Love this product. I hesitated because of the price, and I worried it would either break out or dry out my skin. Now I can't believe I went so long without it. Seriously, to try it out, I put it on half my face, then did my usual routine on the other half. HUGE difference. HUGE! My skin gets shiny and oily through the day without this stuff--I'm blotting by noon in the summer. With this stuff, I may still have to do some blotting around 5 PM, and I still get a little bit of creasing in my foundation around my nose (where it's the greasiest), but it's such an improvement, I can't live without it now. Also worth noting: I always wear a moisturizer with sunscreen during they day, and I think that adds to the oily look of my skin--without the primer, I would put on foundation and powder and still look sort of shiny--but with the primer, the greasy look of the sunscreen is totally eliminated. And I can use less powder and foundation, so my skin look better AND more natural. I hardly ever spend this much money on makeup--my foundation, powder, blush, etc., comes from [...]--but this is worth the cash.

I enjoy this product more by itself. Purchased it to go under the Smashbox Halo in order to control my very oily skin with large pores. However, after applying the make up, the perfection is short lived--my face is super oily after about an hour of applying.

Con... I still do not like the packaging... The pump quits working and it is a pain. Wish it came in a tube. Love the product but this is a major drawback.

My skin is oily, so I apply smashbox anti-shine, photo finish, then high definition foundation, all 3 makes my skin smooth, I am not expected to cover "age spots" & it doesn't last whole 8 hrs- especially my nose & forehead do get oily again. I just gently wipe my face w/ a wet paper towel, dry w/ another dry paper towel & my face is freshen up again!

Perfect under tinted moisturizer or foundation. I can tell the difference if I don't put it on first under my makeup because it feels so good and smooth using it as my base.

This product is great to use alone or under other makeup. It minimizes pores and helps avoid shiny looking skin. I love it. It's worth the price.

i like the product, but it is too small of an amount for the price

This makes your face feel so smooth, it must be evening out your imperfections. I don't know yet whether it makes foundation last longer, but it feels yummy and makes application flawless, even if your skin has been around for 5 decades!
