When they stopped carrying that product, I looked around for substitute and discovered Neutrogena's body oil. I pour it into a small empty spray bottle and use it on my face in the morning before applying moisturizer, and after my shower in the evening, applying it to both my body and face prior to applying a moisturizer. In 1985, I was trained by a licensed aesthetician to first apply a light oil before moisturizers as a way of allowing the cells to better absorb and hold moisture. Since then, I have continued to get positive feedback about my skin. Neutrogena body oil is both an excellent and economic product when compared with other, more expensive name brands. What we as consumers pay higher prices for is the advertising and not the product. VS Most Liked Negative Review Just okay This oil is just okay. During more humid times of the year, I can see it working a little better, but I think I'm going to try to find a taker for my almost full bottle because although the product smells very nice out of the bottle, it leaves an oily smell on all your clothes - even after they've been washed multiple times! I had friends in college who worked at Pizza Hut and complained about not being able to get the oily smell and residue out of their uniforms. I know what they were talking about now... I would put it on right after a shower and instead of soaking in, it would just sit on top of my skin. So I'd have dry, flaky skin with an extra layer of oil on top. Gross. The oil itself even had a "dry" feeling to it and didn't feel good going on. Even if I gave it a few minutes my skin would still be greasy and then it would get all over my clothes. If I applied it right before going to bed sometimes I would wake up with marginally less dry skin but otherwise this product did not work for me. I'd rather just use lotion. Today I opened a new, 16-ounce bottle only to find that it is now scented with a cheap-smelling perfume that not only smells bad but caused an allergic reaction. I can't recommend it. I don't towel dry, just smooth this stuff on all over (legs, arms, shoulders, body, even the heels of my feet) while my skin is still damp and then simply let air dry. It dries quickly and leaves a pleasant, lingering smell, and when I want to switch up the scent, I've found a spritzing of body splash mixes very nicely with this stuff, and in some instances, over-rides the sesame oil fragrance. I even smooth the leftover product that's on my hands into my hair and it doesn't leave it greasy - just more soft and smooth.
