I give it a 1 because it works worse than regular strength antiperspirant. My first experience with CLINICAL strength was the brand Secrets and it worked as advertised. It was long-lasting and kept me super dry. When I first bought Dove CLINICAL strength, I was thinking it would work as good as Secret. I took a brand new Dove Clinical Strength with me on my trip to Greece this summer - and that was a mistake! It was super hot and humid in Greece, I wore tank tops everyday there. I would apply DOVE CLINICAL strength in the morning, and by noon, I could not lift my arms up because I totally smelled from my sweaty underarms. It was embarassing. I think it made my underarm smell worse than not using anything at all. It was really a disgusting smell. Good thing I was able to buy regular antiperspirant at a local store which worked better than Dove Clinical Strength. I DO NOT recommend that you use this. I am not super sweaty person and this did not work for me. I will never ever buy this again. I actually like Dove's regular antiperspirant much better. I have gone back to Secret CLINICAL STRENGTH

I am a woman who gets picked on by her husband b/c I smell worse sitting still than he does after a work-out. He's so mean. Anyway, I finally spent the extra money & tried Dove Clinical. When I applied it in the morning after my shower, I smelled funky 5 hours later. So last night I wiped my underarms w/ baby wipes & applied Dove clinical. This morning I woke up & took my shower & didn't reapply it. (But I brought it to work just in case!) I have a very clingy shirt on today & I just did a pit check - I don't smell anything! No BO! I can't smell the deodorant, either, but who cares? It works!

It is hard for me to find a deodrant that works for me and I hit the jackpot with this one. It is a bit expensive for deodrant but I believe you get what you pay for ... this is worth every penny.

As other reviewers said, this has a great scent when applied. It's creamy, rubs right into your underarms, and is not irritating. I applied it before bed as directed. I stayed dry the next day but had smelly underarms (which is usually not a problem for me) I tried applying first thing in the morning, too. Still dry, but still stinky.

Well, after using this deodorant (the Energizing one), I guess I perspire easily. I never have any luck with other deodorants, so I decided to try this "clinical protection" one. Really, I only like the spray that came with it. The deodorant itself didn't do a thing. I'm not super active enough to break a sweat, but by the end of the day, my armpits smell like a sweaty construction worker. :| At least with other deodorants, the scent of the deodorant stayed even though the "anti-perspiring" part didn't totally work. I wouldn't buy this product and wish I had save the receipt so I could get a refund. This product may work for others, but it didn't work for me.

So far this has worked really well for me. I just have to apply it at the right time. I take showers in the morning to help wake me up, so at night I do a quick wash-up and apply it before I go to bed. I also re-apply a little bit in the am.

Also works great on foot odor!

I TEND TO PRESPIRE EASILY AND THIS PRODUCT HAS HELPED KEEP ME DRY AND SMELLING GREAT.

I will continue to use this deodorant. It works great. It smells fresh and not too overpowering.

This is a great antiperspirant. It really works and it smells really good. Since it is clinical strength, it is more expensive, but I think it's worth the price if you perspire a lot.
