This hairspray works great but don't use too much as it does build up in your hair. Plus if you use too much it will make your hair stiff.

Perfect finishing spray. " Locks" it in. Don't need more than a once over light spray.

Drugstore.com has products that are hard to find, like the unscented hair spray, good prices and excellent customer service. Win-win!

I purposely bought this because it said it was unscented.
When I got it home, however, "fragrance" was listed as one of the ingredients on the label. I am allergic to fragrance so I was unable to use it.

I am BEYOND thrilled to read the review that advised SG is nixing the "improved" formula!! I just spent the better part of an hour reading reviews and looking for a new hairspray that would take the place of my beloved Mega Unscented. I am a long time user, and while I liked the update look of the can, I ended up returning the newer version. I thought it was just the spray nozzle - it clogged easily, the product came out in clumpy spurts that left white, paper punched looking dots, and it was awful if a re-style was necessary. I even called their customer service - it was just bad. Fortunately, I found one of the older cans that I've been rationing.

Good news! According to their Facebook page, Salon Grafix is bringing back the old formula due to all the complaints about the new one. It may take a few months, but it will be back. It's good to know there's a company that actually listens to its customers.

I previously reviewed the scented version in the old can and highly recommended it. However, the can is not the only thing about this product that has changed. Apparently it has also been reformulated into a wet and sticky spray that makes it hard to style after applying. Maybe that's why it is now called Finishing Mist instead of Styling Mist. The old formula sprayed a dry, fine mist that allowed you to continue styling but still had a freeze effect. The new formula tends to come out in globs, making it difficult to use. It does have a stronger hold, but it creates a helmet-head look instead of a softer style. I am so disappointed that this product has changed, as it truly was the perfect hairspray for me. Is there another hairspray in this line that is similar to the old version?

I have thin, baby-fine hair that I wear in a cute flipped-out style (think Paige Davis in the old Trading Spaces tv show!) Anyways, I go through a can of hairspray per month, so I prefer not to spend a lot. This is the best hairspray I have found for hold WITHOUT an offensive scent! It is not sticky and does not leave any type of "crunchies" in your hair. Plus, the price is absolutely right. Try this instead of TIGI or Big Sexy Hair products.
