Indications
Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures, decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.
Warnings
For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. For use on skin only. Avoid contact with fabric.
Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including limit time in the sun, especially from 10am-2pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

My son is almost 3, toe-headed and very fair, and even he doesn't get sunburned after hours in the pool with this lotion. Remember to reapply after every 1.5-2 hrs of exposure, but this is the best sun protection I've found for kids, hands down.

Fragrance is unpleasant
Unfortunately I found the fragrance to be objectionable. I tried using it twice but just couldn't get used to it. A better buy would be an Ocean Potion with no fragrance.

This brand was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist for my children. Having raised the kids in Arizona for seven years, and only using Ocean Potion products, we have never had a child get a sunburn nor have my husband and I ever got a sunburn. Product featured here appeared to be a little greasier and shinier than the other products I have used from them which include Sport, sensitive skin. I personally enjoy the sensitive skin 50 SPF. Bottom line is used correctly the product has never failed to give us the sun protection we so desire. The feeling is good, the scent is great, and no sunburns. What more could you ask for?

I did hours of research to zero-in on a suscreen that was listed as SAFE chemical additives and in most every regard, but that didn't cost a fortune (I use a lot!)... This product is rated high in the independent consumer report information for safe chemical additives and not too pricey so I tried it. I have used two full tubes now and am delighted to find that it covers well (a lot goes a long way), never seeps into my eyes, stays on for hours, doesn't go on too "greasy" & drys/soaks-in fast, and even though it's "only" a 50spf (my last sunscreen was an 85spf but I stopped using it because I realized it had endocrine disrupters and lots of other risks associated w/its ingredients!)-this Ocean Potion product (@spf50) is completely adequate to insure you'll never burn... also, the cost is (comparatively) very reasonable. It doesn't smell pretty, but I quickly got used to its neutral or chalky sort of smell. I would give this product my highest reccomendation and hope they don't go and discontinue it!! (It's because of that hope that I'm taking time to write this!).
I love that this product dries quickly and does not feel oily. Only thing is--now I'm allergic to every sunscreen I have ever used except for Hawaiian Tropic.
I am an adult with fair, sensitive skin. This sunscreen is very effective, has a delicious pineapple smell, rubs in easily, and is nongreasy. What more can I ask for?
Love this sunblock, especially now that they are oxybenzone free! Smells great, long lasting, and provides excellent protection for my kids! Just spent a full week at the beach and no burns for anyone, even my fairest child. I do reapply frequently, every couple of hours.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor.
