Warnings

Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including limit time in the sun, especially from 10am-2pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. For use on skin only. Avoid contact with fabric.

All I have to say is that every negative review, I THINK that these people either did not use the product as described, apply 20 minutes before sun exposure and did not re-apply it every 2 hours OR the lotion they had was an OLD bottle of lotion and the sunscreen lost it's potency, and THAT is most likely why they got a sunburn. People who use ANY lotion with SPF 30 should NOT get a sunburn, NO ONE who uses SPF 30 should NOT get a sunburn UNLESS they might be allergic to the sunscreens in the lotion, OR they might have had sun poisoning in their past, or are taking medications making them extremely sensitive to the sun. SPF 30 and NO ONE should get a sunburn, and any lotion that is higher than SPF 30, like SPF 45, 50, 70, I have read that anything above SPF 30 is practically the SAME as using SPF 30 ( with the exception for babies and children ). This is a GREAT lotion to get a nice base tan, and then the last 2-3 days of your vacation, if you want, switch to SPF 15 to get a darker tan. This lotion has a nice scent to it. It is water proof and sweat proof too ! If you're not on vacation and work in the sun all day long, I would say use SPF 30 everyday then IF you want to get darker, if you want, then switch to SPF 15 but whatever the reason for being in the sun, be it that you are on vacation, or work in the sun all day or even at home in your back yard, a person should use a product that has a minimum SPF 15. Using any product with a sunscreen less than SPF 15 and you can put yourself at risk for pre-mature aging of the skin and even skin cancer. SO ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN !!!

I bought this product because of the price and other user reviews. I play tennis in the sun nearly every day and it does seem to work just fine as far as sun protection. My big problem with it is the awful smell. It smells like bubble gum which is something I do not want to spread all over my skin! I guess that is just one person's opinion and someone else might like it just fine. I prefer a "beachy" aroma!
This is the best lip protecting product I've ever used. It has spf 45 and glides on like butter. I have tried some mineral ones but they are almost impossible to apply. I had to throw them away because I just couldn't get them to adhere to my lips. I LOVE this Ocean Potion Lip Potion! It feels great on my lips!
I wanted an oxybezone free sunscreen and this gave me that and more. It was incredibly effective without making me feel gross and sticky. It even had a non-offensive, semi-pleasant scent! I used this from head to toe, as did my husband, and we had no adverse reaction (no clogged pores or breakouts). I would highly recommend this line and will purchase it for all summer/beach activities in the future. I have already stocked up for this summer!
I use this product (SPF 30) as a general sunscreen for daily use and put it on in the morning after my shower. I use the SPF 50 for running outdoors, going to the beach, etc. Both products seem to protect me well--I haven't had a sunburn in years. I like the light scent and the fact that I can just wear it as a general moisturizer. I often have a hard time finding it in stores, and I was delighted to discover that Drugstore.com carries it at a reasonable price. I think I've found my new source for this stuff!
I was introduced to this product when I moved to Jensen Beach, FL. I used it daily and never got too much sun. Upon moving back to GA, I could no longer find it in stores so I ordered it on line.
I constantly apply sunscreen. This sunscreen smells amazing, doesnt irritate my sensitive skin and is a pleasure to use. I keep the sample size tube in my car to reapply if needed. HIGHLY recommend. :)
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor.
