Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures, decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.
Warnings
For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Stop use and ask doctor if rash occurs. Keep out of reach of children. If product is swallowed, contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. For use on skin only.

I surf regularly, and this is the ONLY sunblock I'll use on my face. The salt of the ocean and repeatedly wiping water from my face are two factors this sunblock endures like a champ! With other sunblocks, I always got burned even after 30mins in the water. With this one, I can suf for hours without reapplying, and I haven't gotten burned once. Best of all, it's got no fragrance, it rubs in completely and it doesn't make be break out or run into my eyes. This is hands-down the best sunblock for water sports! I was curious to find out exactly how much zinc oxide was in this product. I called Ocean Potion and they told me it contained 2% zinc oxide. I plugged all the active ingredients into Ciba"s Sunscreen Simulator and this one failed the Australian Sunscreen Standard. No other sunscreen that I plugged into the simulator failed but this one. It will keep you from burning because it has adequate UVB filters, but it fails in the UVA parameters. Being a lifeguard on the beach in the summer I take sun care seriously. I won't use this product.

I use this product every day. I have tried numerous facial sunscreens and this is thhe ONLY ONE that does not burn the eyes. It applies easily and has the right amount of moisturing properties for me.

This is my favorite face sunscreen for everyday use. I use it every day regardless of the weather after applying moisturizing and under foundation. It rubs in easily and is great for ears and neck too. Love this stuff!

I put it on my face before swimming. It's not the same thick white zinc oxide I refused to use as a teenager. This is more like lotion and keeps the sun off my face completely. Love it!

I love this stuff!!! I have been looking for a facial sunscreen that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. With Ocean Potion there are no break outs and no blackheads. The best part is this stuff immediately soaks into your skin and doesn't leave a shiny, slick look on your face. I was concerned that the zinc oxide would leave a white ghostly color to my face, but was pleasantly surprised that this is absolutely not the case. I have finally found a product that I can use every day.

The only downside is the lack of antioxidants. But I use it for running less than 1 hour and 15 minutes, which is a shorter time than is required for antioxidants, which are needed after 2 hours.

been using for years as we boat a lot and are out alot in the sun. great to put on face, doesn't irritate eyes or lips -- we just wipe it all over our faces and are good to go.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours.
Other information: Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun.
