It is a compact crib but still big enough for the traveling. We requested a crib when we stayed at hotel but we end up using our BABYBJORN Travel Crib Light instead. We felt more closer to him with this crib.

We bought this portable crib for our one-year old grandson and he loves it. It's very lightweight and easy to set up and take down. It comes with a sturdy zippered carrying case with a handle. The mattress is close to the floor which helps prevent the crib from tipping over. A great item!

I haven't used my travel crib yet since my baby hasn't even been born (bjorn) but I'm very pleased with my purchase. Once I factored in the discounts from drugstore.com, the price was more reasonable, especially for such a versatile product. [...] The travel crib is attractive looking (blue is softer than a primary-color shade of bright blue) and the case is nice & lighteight too. It is bigger than I expected, but I hadn't paid close attention to the dimensions of the case. It took me a little bit longer to figure out how to disassemble the crib, but I know with practice I'll be a pro. I'm happy that the components are washable too. I plan to use the travel crib in different parts of our house instead of having a large pack-n-play stationed anywhere--the quick set up & break down will allow me to do this as often as I want without help from others. I know it will be great for traveling too--even to visit close-by relatives and friends. I won't have to worry about the safety of their playpens, since I'll have the travel crib. I'm very pleased so far, but only time will tell if I am able to use this as planned. My sister has the Phil & Ted version and is considering getting this for ease & washability--she's definitely envious of my travel crib!

We took this on a road trip with our 7 month old and worked wonderfully. Very easy to assemble and seemed sturdy. Packed away easily. We just laid her blankets from the crib in it and she slept great.

We have a regular pack 'n play, but we couldn't imagine having to lug that around. When we saw that this crib was only 11 lbs, we were excited. We're very happy that we purchased this travel crib. It is awesome! Our daughter is 6 mos old and really likes her sleep. Now that she is rolling and crawling, we can't leave her sleeping unattended on a bed. So with this crib we can visit family and friends without having to cut our visits shorts due to naps or bedtime. She had no problems falling asleep in this crib from day 1. She's currently 26 inches tall, and it looks like she will be able to use the crib for quite some time. This crib is a little pricey, but so worth it. It is light and easy to set up and take down.

Got this crib for our 5 month old a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. It is absolutely safe for the baby, roomy and sturdy. You just have to make sure that the it's very warm in the room since the baby pretty much sleeps on the floor.

Our son refused to sleep in his Pack n play after he was big enough to remove the bassinet option. So, traveling has been a nightmare. He won't sleep in his Pack n play, he won't sleep in bed with us, and he won't sleep in a rented crib (even though I brought everything but the mattress and crib from his bed at home!). The Bjorn travel bed is awesome. I can't say enough good things about it. It is pricey, but totally worth it! Our son is big for his 2 years, and still has plenty of room, even with one of his crib bumpers for a pillow. I did cut down a basic foam pad and add that on top the the provided mattress, just for a little extra cushion. Might not recommend that if you still need to worry about the suffocation factor for a little one. Also just used his crib sheet and tucked it around. Worked great. Highly recommend. Sleeps like a champ now!! We are free to move about the country...finally!!!

This product is so cool. Much better than the standard pack n play items out there. Set up is a dream. I had to read the directions to take it back down, but once I got the hang of it, it was very easy. I love that it takes up very little room. Traveling with two kids, you save space as much as you can.

it's the best bed ive ever seen. very easy to put up, it takes 2 seconds. it looks very funky too and it's compact.
