I love this odor-free, gentle non-foaming cleanser that is effective even on eye makeup. After slightly moistening my face, I apply a nickel-size dab, then rinse thoroughly in warm water. It never stings my eyes or leaves a tight, burning sensation, any my face is absolutely clean without a greasy feel. For me, this is THE best cleanser I've ever used.

I use this at night as a makeup remover but always follow with a toner (usually just pure witch hazel) to get all the makeup off. The cleanser I use in the morning would be too drying to use twice a day. This can be used like a cold cream. It would be perfect for someone who does not wear makeup.

I have used many other gentle cleansers and still felt as though they dried out my skin (in my late 30's, early 40's). I tried this because I like La Roche Posay's Anthelios. I am thrilled with the product. It is not harsh at all. If I wear make up that day, I will apply it, wipe it off with a dry washcloth (no water rinse), then do a second cleanse with a water rinse. I do not have to use one product for make up removal and a second for cleansing.

Absolutely positively the most gentle cleanser in the world. I have tried EVERY "gentle" cleanser out there over the last 3 years to help with my rosacea, but this is the best. I will say that it doesn't get makeup off that well, but I can't wear makeup anyway, because I'm pretty much allergic to everything. So if you just go "natural" then this is the cleanser for you. It has never caused a breakout.
