This used to be my favorite bandage, even as an adult. The "comfort fabric" is exactly that -- it's even better than the "Soft 'n Flex" fabric alternative that Nexcare offers in beige. And the bright colors are fun.

The sterile pad part of the bandage USED to be perfectly sized for just about any minor wound. But Nexcare quietly shrank the width of the bandage significantly a few months ago, even though the packaging looks almost identical.

For the standard bandage (as opposed to the little "spot" ones also included in the multipack), the pad used to measure 9/16" wide. Now it measures 6/16" wide. That may sound like a small change but looking at them side-by-side, it's a startling switch. It's about the same as the width of my thumb vs. the width of my pinky.

Which means that when applying the newly narrowed bandage to my skin, the pad no longer covers the wound and allows adhesive tape to stick to it instead. Ouch. Even for kids, since when is a pinky-width pad enough to cover their scrapes and bruises?!

Get real, Nexcare, and please bring back this formerly outstanding product. I'd even pay a little bit more for the wider bandage. But I won't keep buying this ridiculously narrow strip that offers little more coverage than the somewhat useless "spot" bandages already do.

These are great bandages. I am a fan of fabric bandages in general because they always seem to last longer on me. These have a soft, smooth feel and will stay on my hands even after washing. I love the fun colors. Who says kids are the only ones who need cheerful bandages? :-)

I use these all the time, they also carry other types of nexcare, but these I like the best, they are comfortable, bend well on my fingers, not thick and bulky

I got these to cheer up my father in law. He is having injections into his back and was feeling blue. He asked the doctor to at least use cheerful band-aids. They didn't have any, so I sent him these to take to his next appointment. Made him laugh - and laughter is the best medicine!
