Indications
Helps relieve the sensation of fullness of the ear, sensitivity to water and drafts, and the annoyance of water-clogged ears by helping clear water trapped in the ear.
Warnings
Do not use in the eyes. Initial exacerbation may occur. Ask a doctor before use if the child has: Ear drainage or discharge; pain, irritation, or rash in the ear; had ear surgery; dizziness. Stop use and ask a doctor if: Irritation (too much burning) or pain occurs; symptoms persist for more than 48 hours. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. For your protection do not use if tamper evident seal around neck of bottle is missing or broken.
I gave this to my daughter who is under 2 years old that developed an earache due to severe congestion ect. She seems to be doing better. And as a mother of 3 I have learned to try things out on myself first before giving it to my child, especially new products... it is slightly oily feeling and it didn't burn my ears what-so-ever... also my daughter wasn't at all disturbed by putting the drops in or afterwards. You do have to squeeze the applicator (which is attached to the bottle) and it was a bit awkward at first. I will definitely use this again.
I went to the store looking for Hyland's ear drops and they did not have any so I got these. When I put them in my daughters ear she complained that they burned. After about 20min of screaming I cleaned her ear out. Did not seem to do anything for the pain.
For use in the ear only. For children ages 2 and over: Remove tamper-evident seal from neck of bottle. Twist cap off bottle. Tilt head sideways. Squeeze plastic application to release 2-3 drops into ear (applicator should not enter ear canal). Keep drops in ear by keeping head tilted or placing cotton in ear. Use up to 4 times daily for no more than 48 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
