PLEASE, read the charging instructions. If you do, you won't have any problems. Easy to use,quick and cheaper than a barber. Bought for myself, then my son. Great gift. Too bad it couldn't be used plugged in.

Please read and follow all manufacturer instructions included with the device. It really needs a good 14 hours for the initial charge. The light will go out when it is fully charged. It is simple to use, I suggest keeping a vacuum nearby to clean up both yourself and the appliance after you are through. It will make things go that much faster and allow you to get on with the rest of your day. This cost me a little more than I pay for a haircut. It is well worth the price.

I normally don't leave reviews, but I seriously wanted people to know how utterly worthless this product is. I've been cutting my own hair for about 15 years and have had many different types of electric haircutters. This one really intrigued me because of the design and the fact that "You Can't Mess This Up" (and I have messed mine up before). Well, you can't mess it up because it does NOT cut. My hair is about 1 inch long and the longest setting on the Short Cut Clipper is ½ inch. On the first pass, it cut about 1/8th inch of hair. On the second pass, it cut none. On the third pass, it cut none. And so on. Even after running it all over my head, my hair was still 1 inch (less the 1/8th inch on one strip from the first pass). I'm not sure how they get to their claim that this electric haircutter is 50% faster. In all seriousness, I could pull each individual strand of hair in my head and cut it with a pair of scissors and I would still be done faster than using the Short Cut Clipper. Thankfully, I still had my old clippers which took care of the job in under 5 minutes. If you are cutting your hair very short, the Short Cut Clippers might work. But take my word on it, the longer settings (especially the ½ inch) do not. (Note: I am giving this one star because it won't let me put no stars¿ or negative stars as the product actually deserves)

This is the best clipper that Ihave used to cut my hair short without irritation. I used the bald setting first and it worked very well. I am going to back off a little and now I can keep a consistent look. I would definitely recommend.

I'm 43 yo and already have thin hair. Typically I keep my head trimmed very close using a hair clipper, blade only. This Remington product gets close, but not as close as I like, but it is good enough that I will keep it. Because of the design, you can't use the clipper without the attachments. I like the ergonomic design and my hair cuts are much quicker. I would recommend this clipper for anyone who wants a close cut.
