I have been using this product for at least 10 years. Obviously I am very pleased. The intensity of the color does vary however I know that it is working. Once a week I do pull out the toilet brush but there is no need to buy toilet cleaner. Sometimes where it is placed between the fill valve and the drain will affect the degree of color in bowl. The flowing water over the tablet releases the blue. If it is very dark you are wasting the product by placing it incorrectly in tank.

I don't know why but I see the same review online. The water would come out blue but after half an hour, maybe it is the interaction with the air, the water turns yellow. Defeats the purpose of buying a BLUE tablet for the toilet.

I don't know why people are so upset with this product! I mean, I bought it back in February and it still works! When I first put it in, I couldn't see much "blue" in the bowl, but I smelled the bleach after each flush and knew that it was working. But after a couple of weeks, both the bleach AND the blue kicked in (dunno why it took that "long," but it was a happy/welcome surprise) and it's been three months without any issues. In fact, I'm moving out next month and it'll very likely still be working after I go! :)

At first I put it in according to the directions and after one flush it turned a vibrant blue. After two or three, not so much. Within a day the effects were completely gone and after a week the toilet needed to be cleaned again and there is no way we flushed it 2000 times.
Very disappointed in the product luckily it was cheap so it was not a huge loss.

I've never used 2000 Flushes before but I figured it would work, since it's a popular brand. Well, it didn't. It was so disappointing!! First of all, you have to put two separate tablets in your toilet tank (one is white and the other is blue) which was kind of a pain. The blue that comes out into the toilet bowl is never a consistent blue either. I have no idea why because it doesn't matter how long the water has been sitting in the tank before flushing. On top of that, the blue has left streaks in my toilet (where it comes out of the tank into the bowl) and it doesn't help in keeping the toilet clean. I normally use Clorox Bleach tablets and when I use those, I pretty much don't have to clean my toilet at all, hard water isn't able to build up on my toilet bowl walls or anything. The 2000 Flushes one doesn't do any of that. I didn't realize it until the other day but the hard water / calcium has been building up since I put the 2000 flushes in just a week or two ago. It really is so disappointing. I'm just glad that there was only ONE in a box (although it looks like there's two because of the fact that it takes two to supposedly do the job... a white and blue one) so that I don't have to throw anything out. I'm definitely going back to Clorox Bleach tablets. No matter the cost, those definitely keep my toilets clean.

My toilet water was a pale blue for one day...and it's been a week since I dropped it in the tank and I already see stains forming again. I won't buy this again.
