I love this product. I always had a hard time finding a dandruff shampoo that actually worked but didn't make my hair feel greasy. Herbal Essences, in my opinion, has created a wonderful product that I would recommend to any one, dandruff or not.

I was skeptical that [$] bottle of shampoo would do the trick on my flaking scalp but within 2 washes it was working its magic. It has 1% zinc which is the active ingredient needed to battle dandruff. For a more effective result, I would lather on the scalp and leave on for a couple of minutes before rinsing. I use it daily and sometimes alternate with a regular shampoo.It works and it's not my Dad's dandruff shampoo that smells bad and harsh on the hair.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

I love this! I used to use other dandruff shampoos, but they have that medicinal smell. This not only works great, but smells wonderfull too! It also clears up itchy, dry flakey scalps. It is a wonderful everyday shampoo. In fact, I don't need to use it everyday, but I do! It actually improves the health of your scalp. Sometims it is hard to find during spring and summer months. Shes loves this product. (She's 14.) It's hard to find in stores. For a dandruff shampoo it's gentle enough to use every day. It leaves her hair clean & shiny. She loves the smell & how her hair feels. Her scalp doesn't itch. She has gone 5 days before washing her hair again (camping trip) & hasn't had any scalp issues.

It says use 2 times a week or more, and I have been 2-3 times a week, for 3 weeks and guess what - I'm still flakey - and it wasn't that bad in the first place, and I'd say I'm just as bad now as I was when I wasn't using this. Bought it because of the reviews and it's a cute less obvious bottle when guests peer into the shower... but get me some good stuff already.

I have used many, many different dandruff products. I have used expensive products recommended by the owner of a salon I went to, I have used prescription shampoos prescribed by a dermatologist, I have used t-gel, I have used the more expensive head n shoulders, and I have used store brand potency shampoos with the same active ingredients as my prescription shampoo. Herbal Essences dandruff shampoo is the only product that works, it stops my severe itching and flakes (i have severe dandruff, and long brunette hair) The only reason I ever tried the other stuff is because NO STORES CARRY THIS PRUdUCT any more!!!! So now I have to order it online, but thats okay, because I love this shampoo.
