I was excited to get this stuff because it's sulfate, paraben free and I'm all about cruelty free. But this product was terrible. It dried out my hair so badly. Always left residue, heavy feel to my hair. And the smell is terrible. I'm really disappointed with this and the conditioner.

There is nothing that I did not like about this product. I have VERY fine, thin hair and it did a super job . Also the statement that DB helps wild life is a plus too.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Bumble and Bumble Thickening and found this at about half the price! LOVED the smell even more than B&B and it worked about 85% as well as Bumble (although I felt my every-other-day hairwashing routine was just a touch too infrequent) ... while it didn't add QUITE as much volume, I felt it dried my hair out less... BUT... About 2/3 through the bottle, I realized it had completely separated somehow! The remaining shampoo was a gooey mess...tried to use it a few times but it just slid ineffectively off my head. Had to throw away a good third of the bottle...making the price not so attractive, unfortunately. So I did like the product...but not the waste. BUMMED.

I have had thinning hair for a long time and I tried every product on the market. Nothing worked. After reading the reviews for this one, I decided I had nothing to loose. I am soooooo happy I did. My hair hasn't looked this good in years (before it started thinning). After I use this and style my hair, it doesn't even look thin. It appears so thick and voluminous. I don't know what is in this stuff, but I would buy stock in the company if I could! You must try this if you want thicker, fuller looking hair. I would have never even tried this had it not been for the reviews. Drugstore.com please don't ever stop selling this.

I have baby fine hair and have tried countless-'volumizing'-type products. This one actually works! I will buy again. It does cause some build-up so I use a clarifying-type shampoo once a week or so. But, it is totally worth it. This is the thickest my hair has ever been without adding styling products.
