I've sprayed this product on my hair while it is wet, and while it is dry. It smells fantastic- like sun tan lotion and candied flowers...but it dries out my hair something awful. It does seem to make the hair curl up but it also makes it look frizzy, dry and unwashed. I guess that IS what the beach does too...but without the moisture in the air that the beach provides (I live in a dry climate) I'm afraid this spray is too drying.

I use the spray on wet hair and then blow dry. I really love the smell. It's good for adding a little bit of texture to your hair.

I bought this product because I was tired of always straightening my hair and wanted to be able to wear it wavy/curly without it looking too big and frizzy. My Hair is very thick and naturaly wavy. This spray really increases the curliness but also controls the frizz, and alows me to let my hair air dry, and still look cute. This is a great product if you want somehting really simple, and easy to do that still makes your hair look great.

I love the smell & I love the concept. Be careful because since it's smells so great and goes on so light you may tend to use way too much. Also, make sure you use some sort of serum or frizz free cream afterwards because it can make your hair look over dry if not. I also heart leaving in a bit of conditioner (not leave but regular) after washing your hair and before spraying it on is a good tip also. Otherwise, if you want that bohemian - beachy (I'm too cute to worry about my hair) sort of look - it'll work great for you. For me I don't see it as an everyday tool - it's for certain occassion and certain outfits. Fresh and natural and not overdone - that's this beach spray.

The sea salt in this product matted my hair down and caused riffs of tangles. Even though my hair is somewhat wavy, the waves did not come in. When I finally brushed my hair out, I saw some breakage. I DO like the moisturizing shampoo/conditioner tho'! It smells great and is somewhat moisturizing. I would recommend the moisturizing shampoo/conditioner to those who have NORMAL hair rather than moisture deprived hair.

I just started using this product and love it so far. It smells wonderful! I used to use Bumble & Bumble beach spray, but wanted to try David Babaii's products, as this pretty much does the same thing as B&B. I don't use hair spray, so this is a great spray after my hair is dry to give it some light hold and works with my natural wave.

This product didn't work for me. I'm not saying it's not a good product, I'm just saying it's probably best suited for someone with straight hair. Also I'm not a fan of it's strong coconut smell, I found it a little overwhelming but the smell does dissipate after it dries if you use it on wet hair.

I find my hair feels a bit dry when using this product. Of course it is a beach/salt spray... so expect your hair to feel that way.

I PUT THIS PRODUCT IN MY HAIR ON A TUESDAY EVENING WHILE DAMP, IT MADE MY HAIR LOOK GORGEOUS AND MADE MY NATURAL WAVE LOOK BEAUTIFULLY CURLEY FROM ROOT TO END! THEN I BLOW DRIED ONLY MY BANGS FOR A STRAIGHT LOOK AND IT STYLED WELL. RAN ERRANDS ALL AROUND TOWN, EVENTUALLY PUT MY HAIR IN A PONYTAIL, THEN FELL ASLEEP WITH HAIR DOWN WITHOUT WASHING IT OUT. I HAD EXTREMELY BUSY NEXT DAY AND HAD NO TIME TO WASH MY HAIR IN THE MORNING, SO I BEGAN TO STRAIGHTEN IT WITH MY CHI STRAIGHTER , AND IT GOT COMPLETELY STRAIGHT! JUST AS STRAIGHT AS WHEN I USE STRAIGHTEN BALM AND TAKE MUCH TIME TO GET THAT STRAIGHT LOOK. THIS WAS ALMOST EFFORTLESS! MY HAIR LOOKED STRAIGHT ALL DAY AND INTO THE EVENING BEFORE I WASHED IT OUT! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS MADE OF BUT THIS WILL BECOME A STAPLE IN MY HAIR ARSENAL! OH AND YOU IF YOU JUST APPLY IT TO YOUR HAIR YOU GET THAT COOL CASUAL I'VE BEEN ON THE BEACH ALL DAY LOOK! SERIOUSLY! REFRESHING! LOVE THIS STUFF! HOPE IT DOES THE SAME FOR YOU!

I purchased after reading a review in lucky magazine. The smell is great, and it does NOT leave hair crunchy at all like most "beach sprays" - hair stays very soft, but does dry out, and this stuff does make me itch a bit on my arms and neck after I use it - but it's not severe. My hair is baby fine and thin and very loosely wavy so this make work much better on someone with a bit more wave in their hair. All in all not bad. However, the waves are more subtle and soft than I would ideally like,so continues my search for my perfect wave enhancing product.
