Use Only Lukewarm Water-Not Hot or Boiling Water If your nose is completely blocked or if you have a new or acute ear infection, do not use this product before consulting your physician. Stop use and contact your physician if you experience pressure in your ears while using. Rinse system in intended only for nasal irrigation. It is advised you talk with your doctor about using this product. Product should be used only by individuals who are capable of fully understanding and following the instructions. The rinse kit should not be used by persons who are unable to maintain a standing position over a basin. Similarly, it should not be used by individuals who are bedridden and/.or seriously disabled. If used on a child, the adult administering the irrigation should fully understand the process prior to using it on a child. Usage of the rinse kit on children under the age of 6 years should be under the advice of the child's physician and only if the child is capable of understanding the process and fully complying with adult instruction.

Change of season, dry or dirty air (heat, airplanes, pollution), effects of colds... this product gets me through all of these. Whenever I feel scratchy, congested or as if I'm coming down with a cold, I start using this morning and evening. The relief is immediate, and there are no medications to cause side effects. I used to get sinus infections yearly, but no more, and colds rarely last even a week. Only drawback is trying to use sterile water. In a pinch, I use bottled water warmed in a sink full of hot water. Much less messy than a neti pot.

This really helps to keep sinuses open for better breathing. I have sinus issues -- I often get sinusitis and sinus infections. I use this product daily. This has helped to lessen the amount of infections I get and also when you do have one it helps get all the gross stuff trapped up there out!! I have been using this product for almost five years now and I highly recommend it.

I have used the "other" product and find this one more effective with the rinse pressure, smaller bottle to pack, salt packets easier to open. I use it before and after flying, as well as daily use when my nose and/or sinuses are congested.

I left my Ayr irrigation set home by mistake. Allergies in Florida are creating havoc so I am ordering another bottle to leave at my FL home. Daily use makes allergies manageable without drugs. I have given many to friends and recommend it to everyone to try before they take drugs. It manages post nasal drainage making bedtime mauch better for sleeping.

The solution is simple and natural. I make a gallon of boiled water with 8 Ayr salt packets (approx. 2 teaspoons). I rinse once a day, and twice during hay fever season. My nose stopped running and I wasn't congested after a few weeks of use. I like the propelling action of the bottle. I'm not fond of the pot shaped containers. The only complaint is about the bottle. This is my 3rd bottle. The 1st one lasted a year before it started to crack around the bottom edges. The 2nd one lasted approximately 5-6 months. I'll continue purchasing Ary, because they are the only brand with this bottle. I would rather just purchase the bottle, instead of the set. I have recommended it numerous times!

I don't just recommend it - I have sent two of these to friends - and one of those friends has already sent two to her friends. The Ayr product is far superior to a Netty Pot. A family doctor recommended either Ayr or Neili-Med to me for my asthma - I like the Ary bottle better and the salt packets are easier to open. I wish Ary had an 8oz (instead of 6oz) bottle like Neili-Med, but that's my only complaint. It has definitely helped my breathing. Yes, rinsing my sinuses has improved breathing in my lungs. Moreover, I have not had a single cold since I started using it a year ago. It is great for all nasal and sinus congestion regardless of cause - colds, allergies, climate-related, etc. In some countries, they consider Nasal Rinses an essential part of daily hygiene - like brushing your teeth. I only wish I'd discovered it earlier.
Use 6 ounces of warm water, either distilled or cooled previously boiled, to fill the bottle (Do not use boiling water)
For an Isotonic solution, tear off the end of 1 packet and empty the contents into the bottle. For a Hypertonic solution, tear off the ends of 3 packets and empty the contents into the bottle.
Insert tube firmly into hole in underside of cap
Screw on the top of the bottle, making sure the nozzle is in the closed position (pushed down)
To dissolve the mixture, grasp the bottle firmly, vigorously shaking it up and down
Lean forward over a basin with your head bent down slightly
Open the nozzle by pulling upward in the applicator tip-
Open your mouth and press the nozzle upwards against your nasal passage. Gently squeeze the bottle until the contents drain from your mouth or the opposite nasal passage. Squeeze the bottle several times using 2 to 3 ounces of solution. Repeat on opposite nostril
After you have finished rinsing, gently blow your nose. In order to prevent pressure on the ear drum, do not block nasal passages completely.
Adults and children 6 years and older, use once or twice per day as directed by physician Children under 6: Consult a physician before use
