This is a great shampoo for kids, but does minimal detangling for long hair. (But please do not make the mistake of buying the Orange u smart detangler. It will cause your kids to cough because of the strong odor). I definately will order this product again.

We use this shampoo on our three year old daughter and she won't use anything else at this point. Not sure if it is the smell or what but bathtime just got easier. We also noticed that her hair shines. I use on my hair and my scalp can feel a difference, doesn't dry it out like other shampoos do. I don't use it daily.

Despite it being a kids product, I tried a sample of this product after reading the ingredients (no "usual suspects" when it came to the ingredients like sulfates, parabens, et al) but it's apparently not innocuous enough because it stripped my hair (too harsh) and I failed to observe any "conditioning" benefits whatsoever. Also, like so many products, it has proteins in it. I wish companies would start marketing protein-free products for those of us whose hair is already strong enough without added proteins!

I really like this soap for my 2-year old's super fine wavy hair. It cleans and softens without all the nasty chemical additives that most baby soaps have, and smells great!

This doesn't have as much of a lather to it as many name-brand shampoos, which is fine with me - and to be expected with any natural product. This may take getting used to for some, but the shampoo/conditioner itself is not affected in any way by lack of suds.

The reason I'm giving this product a 4 rather than a 5 is the price. Though I only use a teensy squirt on my toddler's hair, I still cringe every time I fork out this much on a tube of shampoo!

This product is rated very low in toxicity by EWG's cosmetics database [@] and that prompted my purchase. While it smells good and leaves my daughter's hair shiny, I've found that it really doesn't condition her hair as it states. So we do have to use a conditioner in conjuction with the shampoo. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

I did not buy this based on the reviews but I received 2 samples. I tried them in my daughter's hair and was so upset I did not buy it! It works great, has a great orange smell and lathered well. Now I am purchasing 2 bottles while it is on sale. Yes if your child has longer hair you so need to use a seperate conditioner (I also bought the california baby conditioner) but it is a great shampoo.

I bought this for my husband, who prefers 2-in-1 shampoo conditioners. He hated this product. He said the consistency was hard to work with and it did not condition well enough.

Since he doesn't like it, I'm using it up. The consistency does take some getting used to, and I find I use more than I normally would with other shampoos. I go ahead and use a separate conditioner. I like the smell and how my hair responds to the shampoo.

One major con, to me, is the packaging. We don't have facilities that would recycle this kind of thing, so I tend to go for the bottles instead, which I can recycle.

Smells strange, runny coming out of the tube and the conditioner doesn't work at all. I would not recommend this product.
