The conditioner does the basics--it softens, cleans and adds shine. I'm not sure if it adds volume--if it does, it doesn't add as much volume as some other conditioners do.
It works alright, but it's not fantastic (in my opinion). However, it's good value for money since it's cheap.

I didn't find any difference between this line and the Pantene line. I don't particularly like when products come in tubes because you can't tell how much is left so I will purchase Pantene for that reason as well as it's price.

This conditioner along with its shampoo made my hair fall out...in clumps. I had assumed during the first wash that my hair was trying to get acclimated with the product, and it wouldn't happened again. But two or three more washes after, the clumps of fall out was even worse. It was horrifying, just horrifying. Returned this nightmare.

I fell in love with this conditioner years ago and I will not use anything else. I have fine, long, blonde hair. Over the years, I have used many products that claim to thicken my hair that either do not work or weigh my hair down. This conditioner has made my hair healthier and fuller. I can use it every day without it weighing my hair down and it leaves it with a nice shine.

I've used a lot of conditioners that claim to add volume, and most of them do, but none have ever made my hair feel as soft as this product has. I only bought this product to reach $25 for free shipping, but now it will be a regular item on my shopping bag. Love it!

As opposed to some products that create volume with a kind of waxy deposit, this added volume w/out changing my hair texture. Though maybe not ideal for extra thin hair, it worked well for me. All in all, a solid product

I have fine, wavy hair that I color regularly. My scalp is naturally oily. Because of this, I prefer to rub a little finishing milk into the ends of my hair on most days, but I still need to use a cream conditioner about twice a week. John Frieda comes through again with a very good cream conditioner suitable for dry fine hair.

This line is one of the best if you're processing your hair in any way, and this conditioner is no exception. It will weigh hair down a little bit, but not nearly as much as other cream conditioners, and it adds a ton of shine. If your hair is fine and either dry or damaged, consider this conditioner. (*If your hair is fine and neither dry nor damaged, you don't need conditioner, this one will not help with any problems you're experiencing; it is good for minimizing the usual problems people with dry fine hair encounter, but it does not actually ADD body).

In addition to smoothing the cuticle and adding shine, this conditioner smells very nice. It's a subtle floral that reminds me of milled soap. Again, I highly recommend this for fine-haired folks who have dry hair or processed hair. Fine-haired folks with no dryness or damage would do better without any conditioner at all, including this one.
