I do not use it before bed only in the morning before work or going out at night. Looks really nice on the skin, especially with a tan. So I'm glad I found it on Drugstore.com. This lotion is the best. I've tried many other brands that are no comparison to the Olay Body Quench lotion. I don't think it's exactly the same as the one I used to use but I'm happy with it. Best Uses Comments about Olay Quench Daily Lotion Plus Shimmer, with Cocoa Butter, 11.8 fl oz: I've been using Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion, which works wonderfully, but I wanted a product w/ shimmer to it. I am very fair-skinned, and want to add any glow to my skin that I cannot without using a faux bronzer (which looks unnatural on me). I am very displeased w/ this product. Maybe on darker skin, some shimmer shows up, but it has NO shimmer on me, not even on my palms or fingertips that I used to apply the lotion! The smell is terrible, like artificial coconut extract. It is a lotion that doesn't even moisturize well. I'm astounded that this lotion gets such good reviews. My search continues...
