I couldn't get my daughter to take this, even when mixed in juice. I tried a drop of it myself and couldn't get the awful taste out of my mouth. The taste is so strong that nothing can mask it. Fleet needs to make this flavorless (or at least without artificial flavor) and colorless so that it can easily be mixed in juice.

In my opinion (and many psychologists'), enemas should simply not be used on children. They way they are administered gives the child the message loud and clear, "you are not at all in charge of your body." And this is true even if the child is old enough to "agree" to it. Using a stool softener like Pedialax or Mira (as opposed to a true laxative) is a MUCH better solution. Just realize that it might take a dose at every meal for a few days to work. And remember, no child would choose to have this problem, so don't punish him as though he is simply trying to make YOUR life difficult. PS: It only tastes good in milk or soymilk! If necessary, put in a bit of sugar.

I bought this for my daughter. It does help but even mixed with juice it has a terrible taste. I tried a sip and had the taste of it in my mouth for an hour. It was a struggle to get her to drink all of the juice.

This is a great product. I recently had surgery & need a stool softener for a while but the adult colace is way too strong for me. This being in liquid form lets me control the dosage that I want exactly. Works very well without over doing it. :)
