I tried this because i had razor bumps from shaving and I wanted to use something other than shaving cream to see if it made a difference getting rid of my razor bumps. First and foremost, I liked the old-fashioned look of the bottle. The citrus scent was very refreshing and pleasant. It wasn't overpowering at all. What impressed me most was that Dr. Bronner's is all-natural so it didn't have any chemicals that would harm my skin. I tried this as an alternative to shaving cream the day I got it, and it worked very well. I washed my face with this soap, and applied a special lotion for treating razor bumps afterwards. My razor bumps are nearly gone, and there's no more itching and irritation. It took a few days to notice the big change, but it was well worth it.Using Dr. Bronner's and my Barc Bump Down lotion is now an everyday ritual for me. After I'm done with the citrus, I'm trying out the tea tree version next. Thanks, drugstore.com. [...]

Complete disappointment ~ I own the Peppermint soap and I am on a Orange scent kick and thought I would try the Citrus Orange liquid soap. There is absolutely NO scent to this soap, which is what I wanted, and it's expensive too. I will use this in my kitchen and bathroom as hand soap, but I will not buy this again...

I cannot say enough about this amazing product! I use it daily w my loofahs and it lathers up wonderfully. I use it on my toddler as well as a full body wash and shampoo; hence I pour it in a small container and travel with it. It is a bit drying on the hair, but I use conditioner anyway, including on my daughters hair, so it is a negligible quality. The scent is as gorgeously natural as its ingredients. Oh, and BTW, I use it on my dogs and guinea pigs in the bath!!!

Following the directions, I do need to dilute it with water. Rinsed very clean, doesn't leave a slime/film like most body washes.

I have been a Bronner fan for years. I love the peppermint but its too strong to use on sensitive parts like my face. This scent is fresh, clean, and unisex. All my family can use this scent.

good stuff. i use it to wash everything - hair, face, body. have thick dry curly hair and this keeps it clean but in line. face clear. a tiny bit of product goes a long way. the scents can get old quickly, but i guess that's the tradeoff for getting all natural ingredients. orange is probably my favorite scent.

This is the real deal.
It does not contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS)
and does not contain any distilled petroleum or other synthetic ingredients which can take a toll on over all health
The type of product you use effects your whole body not just certain parts
Dry skin also means how poorly your body is able to produce fresh skin cells to replace the already dead ones thus creating thousands of layers dried out dead skin
this has never died my skin and has always protected me from damage

I use this for daily showering. It does have to be diluted but if you pour about half of it into your bottle of laundry soap you can dilute the rest with water. I don't recommend it for washing your hair, though. It's a great use of industrial hemp.

I first purchased the bar soap for bathing and liked the scent so much I then purchased the liquid soap for shampooing. The citrus is a great scent and the soap lathers better than others.

I bought this product to replace the liquid hand soap I had been using. My previous brand, although "natural" and organic, did not score well on the Cosmetics Database, so I searched down this one. I find the scent mild and pleasant; however, the soap is extremely watery. I am using the same dispenser I've used for years, but since this soap is so watery, it sprays out of the dispenser... or worse, the dispenser gets mostly clogged when the previous squirt of soap dries up. The outcome of the next squirt is then a blast of soap shoots its way out in random directions... onto my clothes, my face, the mirror, etc. Bummer!

To simplify & enjoy life more, dilute 1/2 ounce or 2 squirts of this Pure Castle Soap with 2 gallons or sinkful hot water, then towel massage, a facial pack, then wring towel out & fingertip massage your hair & scalp. Enjoy the creamy emollient later on baby, bath, and beach, body, dentures, deodorant, shaving, aftershave-silk-wool, pets, diapers, car, hand and foot soap.
