I first used this in Chicago, after bites from Wisconsin still itched after three days. I used it on the plane coming back to California. Every time the bites itched, I put more on. It took the itch away and by the time we got home I was fine! I can't find it in California. I had to order it from drugstore.com. PLEASE PLEASE market this on the WEST COAST. People here get bites too, although maybe not as often. I've told several people, all said "wow, that would have been nice to have when......"

the after bite pen is ammonia base and just soothes and doesn't sting. You'll still get a mosquito bite reaction but the itching is definitely controlled and this is good because often I'll shred my skin just trying to deal with a bug bite.
