I find that most adult doses of allergy medicine knocks me out. I get drowsy or just feel completely out of it. I find that one tablet of this gets me over the sneezing and runny nose I have when dust or pollen overpowers me. Love the cherry, hate the grape.

This product is great because it works FAST, and adults can take it and still get the benefits of benadryl without as much drowsiness. Sometimes a second dose is needed, but I've been taking the lower dose for years. It's better than sudafed for me. However, the Medco price is the same as a certain drug store chain whose name starts with a W, and I get them cheaper in W's stores when they're on sale. Other reputable pharmacies have them cheaper, too. Shop around, don't waste your time with Medco's prices.

I carry the Benadryl FastMelts with me because I have been stung around the head and had severe reactions. I do not need an Epi Pen. But the Benadryl FastMelts get into my system quickly and begin to counteract the symptoms.

Finally! My son couldn't stomach the taste of Benadryl liquid, and that was the only option since he couldn't swallow pills. Plus, the liquid would go to work faster when he was having an allergic reaction than the pills would (gets into the system faster). But the liquid was always a struggle to get down him. With these tablets, he LIKES the taste (yay!) and he could chew them quickly (dissolve? Just chew and swallow). We were BOTH much relieved to use these on the last allergy episode. Five stars.
