The smell is pretty awful, for my apartment at least. I like other Febreze Air Effects Air Refresher smells, but this one just really kills me.
I would recommend the sweeter floral/citus smells they make.

Febreze Air Effects;this product truly is like opening all the windows in your home.There is nothing artificial about the spray,it really does make the air fresh; my personal favorite is linen&sky though other scents are available.Good for every room in your home.My only negitive would be the trigger which is plastic and will sometimes crack or break;But if you use mild pressure while spraying you will have good results.

My husband uses it every time he comes inside from smoking a cigarette. He sprays it above and all around him. It REALLY masks the cigarette smell. I would not be able to tolerate his smoking without it. It is Linen & Sky.
