This is my favorite eyeliner! It stays put and doesn't require a sharpener. Love it always! Wish they had it in more colors.

This is the best liner I've found for a soft, smoky look - I don't want a harsh, gel line and I don't want to sharpen pencils. This fades a bit throughout the day - more so in the heat - but everything else I've used that gives a smudgy look does too. I have every color but I use Cinnabar most often - everyday on my upper eyelids and lower. Like one other reviewer, I stick to Cinnabar under my eyes because Espresso matches my eye color and is usually too dark.

Not smudge-proof as advertised. Not waterproof as advertised. I'm trying the Napoleon Gel eyeliner and it is the best I've found so far but even that smudges.

The color cinnabar is a bit light brown for me, and I should know better to get a darker color, thus a smoky look is appropriate for this color. Even though it looks like it would apply easily and smoothly, it just doesn't. With this product, I have to press harder to apply it, difficult when you are wearing contacts, but okay if you are not. It's best applied when your eyes are on the dry side (not soon after you apply your moisturizer). It is definitely better than eyeliner pencils, which are the most difficult to apply, IMO.

It says that this product is smudgeproof.

It isn't.

All three reviewers thus far have said the same thing... I have no idea why the other two don't mind this, but I sure do. I'm still looking for an eyeliner that really is smudgeproof.

I switched from using gel eyeliner in pots to Maybelline Unstoppable pencils because they are much more hassle-free and save time getting ready in the morning. Unstoppable is the only eye pencil I've used that glides on easily (as opposed to pulling on my eyelid). The application method took a little getting used to compared to using a wet eyeliner brush, but not much. I have several colors: onyx (black), espresso (dark brown), pewter (med grey), and cinnabar (med brown). I generally wear eyeliner across the top of my lid, and sometimes on the outer third of the bottom. I have med brown hair and dark brown eyes, and combine the cinnabar liner with a bronzy/peach blush and red lipstick. If I use espresso on the top instead, I still use cinnabar on the bottom so I don't look like a racoon (since espresso matches my eye color exactly). I have two facial cleansers; one washes the liner off easily, while the other requires a bit more rubbing. The only drawback is that I do get a bit of smudging during the day under my eye; I'm not sure if it's from my liner or from my mascara, but either way I just use my fingers to swipe off any excess when it appears. I especially like the fact that Unstoppable is a relatively natural product, as evidenced by its good EWG skin deep rating.
