I don't know what people are talking about , i have used many mascaras and i love this one , i am a natural blonde so i have very blone eyelashes this is one of the only mascaras i can find that covers the blonde and does not clump. I also do not have a problem with it drying out to fast so for the people who have this problem try closing the top better . I just wish this came in colors other then black brown or blue .

I wanted to try this mascara for a long time, so when my MAC Plushlash hit it's 3-month mark, I decided to buy this and was soo super excited to use it. when I did, it worked pretty well. all in all, it didn't really clump and when it did, I just went over it a time or two more, which I usually do anyway. the smell was terrible, then I started to like it a little, then it made me nautious. I really liked the brush, the size and shape were amazing! it did flake a little after wearing it but not too much and it also made my eyes itch. what I didn't really like about the mascara, though, was the formula. they really should make it a little thicker.

The only good thing about this mascara is that it's better than no mascara at all. For me it clumped... got little tiny balls/globs at tips of lashes and stuck the lashes together, it flakes and smudges, and it has an awful smell. For some reason I wanted to try something different than my usual (L'Oreal FeatherLash and Telescopic [depending on mood] :) but it turned out to be a big waste of money. I'll stick to my regulars.

I liked the consistency, and thought the results from this mascara were almost as good as my Clinique. However, I experienced an itchiness in my eye each of the 3 days I used Colossal. Once I went back to Clinique and BE, the irritation subsided.

I bought this product and tried it 1 day after I purchased- I hated it. It did absolutely nothing to my lashes except make them black. All of the curl was due to my eyelash curler. It started to flake off and smudge. I got a beautiful raccoon look. The wand isn't nice- it made the application really clumpy & uneven. So i tossed it to the bottom of my makeup case and forgot about it for 3 months. I tried it again and actually liked it! I was beyond shocked. It didn't flake or smudge anymore. It applied a little better but not much. It added volume. So I used it 7 more times. Then I started noticing it getting bad again. When I went to use it an 8th time, something attached to the tube that prevents all the mascara from coming out broke. So I got a wand COATED with mascara- you could hardly see the bristles.Obviously I didnt apply it. It eventually clicked bad into place but almost everytime I tried opening it that piece would click off- not only is that annoying, but makes the mascara dry out and get bacteria. I threw it out after this. I dont know why magazines and people rave about this stuff. Even at its best, its subpar.

It's good, but it doesn't make my lashes "colossal" and it clumps a bit, so if you have lashes that go in all different directions like mine, I wouldn't suggest it. Really it's just your basic mascara, nothing special.

I have such short lashes I have literally tried every lengthening/thickening mascara out there and nothing even comes close to this. I believe this will give volume to the shortest lashes. Apply more than one coat.

this is a pretty good mascara. it does exactly what it says it does. i recently switched to this mascara after getting fed up with covergirl lashblast. the lashblast mascara dries up quickly and flakes. this mascara is a lot better in my opinion. get this instead! however, i don't buy maybeline products anymore after i found out that they test on animals.

Ok so I read this does amazing things for your lashes so thought I would stray from my Maybelline Define a Lash to try it. This mascara is junk. Does nothing for my thin, light lashes; clumps easily, cannot hold a curl, and stinks. I wish I didn't waste my money.

I have lashes that are straight and point downward and are thin. This didn't give me any volume. I felt like the formula was too thin.
