The curve of the Maybelline curler is a good match for my eyelids. A couple of curls for each eye works well. Then put on the mascara and go!

Terrible product. Not only will it not curl eyelashes, it actually straightens them and makes them go weird directions. The problem seems to be that the top and bottom sections don't line up as they should when you squeeze them together. One overlaps the other instead of coming together as they should. Have used Maybelline curlers before and didn't have this problem so either this one is terribly defective, or the manufacturer has changed the mechanism. Tried and tried, finally just threw it away.

There are other types of curlers that don't take
as much work. You need to apply alot of pressure with this one, uncomfortable to use.

This product has been redesigned and is no longer any good. I still have my old Maybelline eyelash curler and it would still be great if I could find replacement curler pads that were any good. The curler pads used to be flat on the top and white. Now they are made from a black, rubbery, rounded material and are completely ineffective.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

when I first bought this, I thought it would be so great as a replacement to my shu uemura and MAC eyelash curlers. I really like that it looks pretty much the same as the shu uemura curler but it does not work as well as either of my previous curlers. in order to get just a little bit of curl in my lashes, I have to go over each set twice. what I hate about it is that you have to press down pretty hard, too, which puts strain on my forearm. also, I noticed when I took it out of the box, when I opened & closed it, it made a squeaking sound, so I may have just gotten a faulty one. I don't know. either way, it's still an okay curler for only about [$].

Stick with the old style rubber pad. This new silicone pad simply does not work. Lashes don't curl, and you could strain your wrist trying use that tough pad!

I definitely got what I paid for! Very poor quality. Broke the first time I tried to use it. Obviously did not curl.

Alot of eyelash curlers don't line up right on your eyelid and then they bend your eyelashes- the Maybelline curler really just curls the lashes with a very natural looking upsweep that makes your lashes look longer and fuller. Definitely recommend this one.
