i think this cleanser is horrible. the only positive thing i can say about it is that i liked the fragrance - but only from the bottle. once i used it on my face, after a while the scent would remind of cat pee for some reason - horrible! it really dried out my skin and worsened my acne. there's no way i'm getting this again.

Nice and clean, smells great too!

I love this wash. I use it twice daily, along with St. Ives Apricot scrub, witch hazel and Clean and Clear dual action moisturizer. After I used 2 bottles of the pink grapefruit wash, I thought my skin had cleared up so I switched to St. Ives Olive cleaner- mistake. Within a couple weeks, I was broken out, seemingly past the point of no return. So I repurchased this cleaner and 3 weeks later, my skin is clear again! :D

This cleanser is quite good, to be honest. It IS very drying, but it is part of the treatment of acne sometimes. If you get a rash or hives, then obviously it's time to move on, but dryness and peeling is common with acne products. Just reduce usage and then gradually increase it. Try it once every other day for a couple of weeks, then once a day, then twice a day. Work up the usage. That being said, also moisturize with something for sensitive or dry skin. I use another brand's moisturizers because Neutrogena doesn't really meet my moisturizer requirements.

I use this twice a day and use aqua glycolic toner once a day (at night) and the combo has been great. Even before the gylcolic toner I was using this face wash and a different toner and got good results. This facewash cleanses well, removes makeup, smells good and I haven't had a single breakout while using it. The annoying blackheads on my nose that seemed to never go away no matter what are also gone! I use boots no7 day and night creams and haven't had any dry skin problems either.

I love Neutrogena products and was really excited to try this one, but sadly it's not for me. The scent is awesome but the wash really irritated and dried out my skin. I use prescription Retin A to control my acne so I'm sure that's why this product was too harsh for my skin. Neutrogena needs to make this product as a gentle wash without the acne firghting ingredients for those of us who don't need the salicylic acid... I would definitely buy it! I would recommend this product to people who don't use any other acne washes or creams.

I loved the smell of this product and was excited once I used it I saw a difference in my skin. But after a couple days, my face got red like it had sunburn&now my skin feels just like I have sunburn. It's extremly dried out and peely. I can't wait for it to go away.I'd advise you to stop using it once your face gets red. When I put on my make up and go to wash it off at night, my skin burns now.

Let me just say I have not used this product in a while and the bottle is over half full. This cleanser was very drying! My skin was peeling off after using it, and to make matters worse I still had some break outs to deal with. That is the worst when you have dry, peeling skin AND breakouts. It irritated them. I definitely do not plan on buying again unless the formula becomes less harsh or something. The best thing about it was the smell.

I've used some of the other neutrogena fash washes--like the anti-aging/anti-blemish, which I like. I bought this because I like pink grapefruit. It works very well. My only minor complaint is that the smell is a little off--it's definitely grapefruit, but smells a little bleachy.
