I bought this product at sams club for 27.99 for 150 soft gels. Why do you overprice your products. Its a great product according to two eye doctors i visited. I will continue to take it and buy elseware. I know you will edit my review and you should be ashamed. Many people cannot afford to buy at medco, we are on a severe budget and cannot afford to.

PreserVision Eye Vitamins are very helpful to those that have Macular Degeneration Disease but you cannot buy it from Medco unless you have a fantastic income. (even with these so called sales they are offering) I have looked at many items that the "Medco store" offers and have never made a purchase. I can buy ANY item that I have looked at, for much less here in my home town at many different places. I am ashamed of Medco for charging so much when it is obvious that they don't have to in order to make a profit. They are not "in it for their members" they are just "in it for a profit" and that is not what Medco should be all about.

More than 5 years ago my doctor recommended I start these twice a day. They have added many new formulars and I keep upgrading as they do. The softgels are so much easier to take than the hard pills. Although I still get the shot in my eye every 6-8 weeks I do beleive this formulation has helped maintain my eyes so that I can still see after so many years of suffering with AMD. I am faithful in taking them--that is the key.

I started taking this on the recommendation of my eye doctor. I had the beginnings of an eye disease which he said was vitamin and age related. I was told by him that this would help prevent it from getting an worse and effect my vision.

My ophthalmologist recommended this formula (not the AREDS) because I am a former smoker. He told me about a study that showed an increased risk of lung cancer with the AREDS formula which contains beta carotene.
