These are larger than I expected; however, they work really well for me because I have rather thick hair, and a lot of it. They hold well and are easy to use.

I put my curl-sculpting creme gel in first. Then I stand far back from the mirror with wet hair and randomly pick up a pieces of my hair with my fingers and put it where I want it on my head. Then I stick one of these clips in it to hold it down. Then I pick up another piece of my hair and clip that, etc.

While it's still a little wet, I spray it. The effect is great. These clips end up not really showing. They just look like another curl.

It's a little annoying that I'm forced to buy four brown and two black, as I only use the black. I had to buy four packages of these suckers to get enough black. But they really do work.

My hair's not black, but it's dark enough that the black ones are hidden well in my hair.
