They got the "no slip" part down. However, the hair tie itself is a failure. It's been less than a month and 2 ties have already snapped and broke. Then another 3 are unraveling at the joint making the tie lose it's elasticity and rendering it utterly useless.

I try to by brand name hair ties because I just want them to work - every time. I know they get old and unravel and you need to replace them but in less than a month I've already thrown away 5 and I don't even use them every day.

I was excited to see a hair band for blonde hair but these are horrible! Each band lasts one use because they stretch out and break the very first time! Find a different one!

These elastics were a disappointment. They stretch out after one use and break at the meeting point rather quickly. I don't have thick hair and I don't wrap them tightly. There is no excuse. The exposed elastic is a cute idea, but I do not notice any benefits. Bummer!

I love this company, and that's why I can't believe this particular rubber band snaps after a few uses. I wish it wouldn't, b/c otherwise it matches my hair, and keeps my ponytail up for hours (I have terribly fine hair)

I bought these because I like flat profile hair ties and I like the colors. While these hold my hair up fine, the rubbery strip on the inside tears after 1 or 2 uses. I'm not sure how long they'll last damaged like that, but it makes them look pretty bad. They do have a good stretchy-ness (at least when new).

I like to wear a hair tie on my wrist to keep it handy, and these are just slightly too tight to be comfortable to do this.

The blond and brown colors are great though -- I wish more styles were available in these colors.

This hair tie used to be fabulous. It was thick, durable, and long lasting. I still have some from before 2010 that have lasted.
Then....they redid them. Now, they are a thin layer of fabric around a sad plastic band. They break whenever I try to use them. Bad move scunci. Go back to the previous iteration.

These hair ties barely make it around 2 time to form a pony tail. When running with them, they do not hold. The break just by stretching it out with your fingers, as would would to wrap around a pony tail.

I have thick heavy hair. When I run, I like to put my hair up on top of my head so it doesn't get too sweaty or tangled on a long run. These are the only bands I've found that hold my hair on top. They last pretty well, too, before stretching out.
