I recently had surgery to repair a broken ankle. I am in a splint until such time a removable air cast is put on. The opening in the cast protector was too small to fit over the toe and I could not get this on. My splint is no bigger than a typical plaster cast so I don't know how others made it work. No matter how I tried to stretch it open, it did not fit. Not to mention it hurt. I will remove the plastic rim and just use the waterproof sleeve with duct tape. Make it just an expensive garbage bag...

I recently had foot surgery - this was the best find. I can put up with a lot of discomfort and trouble but have to have a daily shower. I have used this for three weeks and it is still working great.

I used it when I shower. I had a soft cast to keep dry.

This is great. Had a cast following foot surgery and with this was able to hop in and out of the shower without a second thought.
