It first started with my tub. When someone would take a shower, it would take a lot longer for water to go down. So uh-uh...I asked my bf to look at it and he suggested this. He said this is the best thing to use when in this situation. If there is water that is not going down, that is a different story and must NOT use this one. He used to be a plumber. We only saw Drano that time, so we picked that up and used it. He showed me how to do it and why to be careful. I have noticed that my bathroom sink has been doing that before the tub did. So I bought this off drugstore.com and used it on the bathroom sink. Works like it should and it's cheaper than Drano. I am sticking to this one. I am even thinking of keeping a few bottles in the house ahead of time, for future maintenance.

To my great shame I have been fooled twice in the last year into using this product. It is advertised for clearing slow drains but it really just makes the drain completely clogged, so you have to use another product to clear it. The directions say to pour the entire bottle down, but the instant you begin pouring it foams up and blocks more foam from going down the drain. The foam sits on the bottom of your tub until you rinse it down. Next morning, voila! Your tub is 100% clogged and you shower in 6 inches of water.
When they say "slow flow" they really mean "for drains that are perfectly fine but whose owners are paranoid that their drain might be flowing at 95% efficiency." Don't buy this product. I've had more than one abysmal experience.

Temporarily staying in an out of town apartment for work. Been trying to combat a slow drain. I ordered 2 of the foaming liquid plumber. I've used it before at my own apartment and found it effective, so this was my go to. Once my package arrived, both bottles were individually wrapped in a plastic BUT once I broke the plastic, I noticed that the bottle leaked. Possibly due to delivery. I poured the first bottle in. NO FOAM. Then poured the second bottle. Also leaked. Also DID NOT FOAM.
Result - my slow drain problem is LESS slow, but not cleared. I am tediously disappointed.

I purchased this and followed the directions, yet there was no difference in the slow drain in my shower. There are products out there that work, but this isn't one of them. Don't waste your money!

If the drain is completely clogged, it won't be of any use, but for slow drain it worked beautifully and just like it's supposed to.

I followed the directions on the bottle and it did not improve the flow in my bathtub drain. I don't put anything weird down the drain, just your average shower stuff (hair, soap etc).

I have a stubborn drain in my bathroom sink and it always is slow to a certain extent. However, when it gets real slow a bottle or 2 will open it up and keep it draining at a close to normal pace. The treatment lasts for about 6 months...depending on usage of that sink. The other household drains that I've used it in clear up great and also last for quite a while. I wish it wasn't so expensive. I have six drains that I try to maintain and it would be great if they sold it in a six or eight pack at a bulk rate price.

Husband's shower drain has always been a problem; finally used this in two applications, followed by one application (3 bottles total) a week later. Worked well and will continue to use as maintenance. Nice to use a product that WORKS!
Slowly pour entire bottle down the drain. For slow drains, wait 1 hour. Flush with hot water. For garbage disposals, follow same usage directions and flush with disposal running. Avoid all splashing. Do not use with plunger or in toilets.
