Since this was prescription only; I've only used this medication for my allergies. I tried other types, but this is the only one that effectively works time after time! It's also the only 24 hr. medication that works effectively for me. Now that it's available as OTC, that makes it more of a value. With more than 1 person with allergies, this brand is very cost effective for our family.

This product does a great job of controlling my allergies without making me drowsy. I'm very prone to drowsiness as a side effect, even with most medicines that are labelled non-drowsy, but this limits that side effect without compromising effectiveness. I use it in the morning on days that I have outdoor activities planned, since my primary allergies are pollen related.

Same as Zyrtec, but MUCH cheaper!!!

I have been dealing with a sudden onset of hives which started about a year ago. I have been to the family Dr, an allergist and a dermatologist and the conclusion is that I have an allergy to something that will most likely never be identified. Previous to taking this product I worried about quality of life. The hives were head to toe and so bad that I tore skin off while itching in my sleep and woke up with dig marks and often cried with how intense the itching was. It was taking a toll on my life and interrupting with everything I tried to do whether it was caring for my son, cooking dinner or just trying to relax. I was originally put on Prednisone, but couldn't stay on it as a long term solution. I was instead told to take one Cetirizine daily and it has worked now for one year. This has to be a pretty remarkable product to keep the hives under control with how severe I have had them. Anyone who has issues with allergies, this is your miracle product!

I take this stuff daily and this is the best deal I have found. I have been prescribed the Zyrtec D for years and now that it has gone over the counter I have found buying this with the generic 12hr sudafed, I save a bundle from buying the Zyrtec D over the counter. I am happy it is available now for people who couldn't benefit before, but with what I was paying through insurance I got hosed now on the over the counter prices, so I have found ways to make my money stretch and still survive the days. I have chronic allergies to EVERYTHING and this helps me to cope, I cannot breath without it!
