I use Boost to increase the amount of protein I get. This product was recommended by a dietitian for wound healing. Because I have type two diabetes, the glucose control Boost kept my sugars down.

I wanted to use this drink as a meal replacement in order to lose weight and was interested in the glucose control since I am pre-diabetic. However, this drink didn't keep me full long enough to be good for a meal replacement. I now drink one to satisfy hunger cravings between meals instead of for a whole meal. This is a great tasting flavor, much better than the chocolate and I usually prefer chocolate flavor over vanilla.

I had gastric by-pass 7yrs ago. And back surgery 1 1/2 months ago. Meds take my appetite. This is the best tasting and nutrient rich product to help fuel me! I always drink one after my walk (milk protein is great for post workout). I would encourage anybody (diabetic or not) to try Vanilla! Haven't tried other flavors cause I like this one so much.
