We are on our 3rd and 4th beds for our 2 large dogs. We used a different brand for our second dog and it was not near as good. So we are purchasing K&H cool beds again. The only negative I can say is going on the 4th year our bed's seams are giving way but other than that it makes my dogs life much better particularly in hot summers. Once the dogs feel the cool they adapt to the beds really well.

Have this pad in place before filling; it is heavy once it has been filled. Pet may be wary of a 'waterbed' feel. Must be kept in shaded or indoor location, otherwise the water temp does not provide cooling. I would recommend with reservations. It isn't perfect & your pet may refuse to lie on such a strange-feeling mat.
