Been taking DHEA for sometime now. I've read quite a lot about this hormone through books that I have read. I only take it 3 times a week due to that it increased some of my hormones. So I need to be a little cautious on taking this product.

This is a fine product. Good value for money. I was prescribed DHEA by my doctor after he did blood tests to determine my pre menopausal hormone levels. So disappointed that our big government up north here has forbidden this product for import. It was confiscated by Customs. Just FYI for other Canadians.

This was recommended to me by a person who reads your eyes and then has you hold the bottle and presses down on your arms to see how your body responds. I know this sounds crazy but to each his own.

I am close to 50 years old now and under more stress due to some family circumstances. My cycle was getting thrown off due to stress and of course, age, and my MD suggested a low dose of DHEA. I'm not back on track and feeling much better!

I used this product because I thought it was something that would benefit me. I try to stay healthy and I would advise anyone who isn't exactly sure of why they need any supplement to use caution with this one. I ended up in the hospital shortly after taking DHEA supplements. Careful consideration and attention to your physical condition should be your utmost decision before taking DHEA. I experienced chest pains and dizziness. I went to a nearby clinic and the doctor ordered an EKG which showed, Negative T readings, (irregular heart rhythm) sent me riding to my ER local hospital via EMS. A speciallist immediately advised me to quit this supplement, I am otherwise a healthy for my age and I had no preconditions for a heart attack and I'm glad this scary EKG reading was false. I still love the 1'000's of products available at Drugstore.com
