Indications
Uses Relieves cold & flu Symptoms, provides relief from respiratory symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal & sinus congestion, minor sore throat and headache, also relieves fever, chills, and body aches associated with the flu
Warnings
Sore Throat Warning - Severe or persistent sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea or vomiting may be serious. Consult doctor promptly. Do not use product for the temporary relief of sore throat for more than 2 days unless directed by doctor. If sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting, consult a physician promptly.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: Symptoms worsen, any new symptoms appear, fever lasts for more than three days, respiratory symptoms persist for more than seven days.
If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before using.
Keep out of the reach of children, In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Children under 4: Consult a doctor before use.

We have four children and were tired of running to the doctor because the kids colds always seemed to turn into sinus infections. We heard about Sambucol and initially bought the syrup. Kids did not like the taste! We came across these tablets that you let dissolve on your tongue and what a dream come true. No bad taste, works like it promises. You do have to start them as soon you feel a cold coming on, they seem more effective that way. If you take them as directed, once every 3 hours, you will be rid of your cold in a day or two and they do not make you drowsy which is great for the kids. My husband has high blood pressure and these are great with that as well because he can still take his BP medicine and not worry about side effects with the Sambucol. We have bought a few boxes of this product just in the past few weeks with all of the nasty stuff going around and it is a blessing. I would say the only con is that there are only 30 in the box so, if a few members in a household are ill and taking this, it goes quickly.

Recent studies show that homeopathic products work no better than placebos. A placebo effect is better than no effect, but I'd rather have the real thing.

I have been using Sambucol for several years now. It is very effective especially if you take it at the first signs of a cold. I can cure a cold within 2 days if taken as directed every 3 hours. I even take it when I get up during the night to go to the bathroom. Fortunately I have been lucky this year but my grandchildren have not, so I have been sending it to them (school) my granddaughter says her friends come to her dorm when they get sick for Sambucol.

As soon as I start feeling like I'm getting a cold, I pop one of these tablets under my tongue. They dissolve quickly and as long as you remember to take one every three hours, they will lessen the severity of whatever ails you. I highly recommend it especially if one finds that taking over-the-counter cold/flu medications leaves you drowsy, in a fog or feeling as bad as one did before taking them. Best homeopathic remedy I've found so far.

After having a sneezing spell and feeling like a cold was maybe coming on as opposed to just my sinuses acting up, I started taking the Sambucol as directed on the packaging. I guess basically the main thing I can say is that it really seemed to work. I began feeling better shortly after taking the first tablet, and probably took 3 or maybe 4 more tablets at the directed 3-hour interval - AND NEVER did come down with a cold, not even another sneezing spell! The fast dissolving tablet tastes good, but you do have to take more frequently than most over-the-counter cold/flu/sinus meds, which usually direct one or two tablets every 6 to 12 hours.

I keep Sambucol handy for when I get the first sign of a cold coming on, and as long as I remember to take it every three hours when I have a cold it cuts the symptoms down considerably. I recommend it for all who hate taking traditional OTC cold medicines, and those who can't take the citrus homeopathic remedies.

My entire family uses this product. It is easy to use and it works! I have kicked out colds in 3 days or at most 4 by taking a tablet about once every 3 hours. Easy to take when you are out and about and don't have access to water. Amazing product! I will always have this on hand, especially during cold season

Take at first sign symptoms and every 4 hours as directed, this works very well. It relieves symptoms and cuts duration of colds/flu. I love that there is NO side effects. No doped up,gooney eyed feelings at all! Tastes great too!

Dissolves fast and easily on or under tongue. Good tasting, kids don't mind taking. If you follow the instructions to take at the first sign of a cold or flu every 15mins for the first 2 hours and then every 3 hours it really works. I am always looking for effective homeopathic medicine and found it in this one for colds and flu. Works faster and more effective than some of the much more expensive homeopathic brands. Like most homeopathic medicine you need should have it in your medicine cabinet so when you get that itch in the throat or the first sneeze or the first ache in the body you can take at first signs.

Manufacturer recomends taking this product at the beginning of a cold. By the time I ordered and received this product, my cold was already full blown. I didn't notice any good results. It may or may not have speeded the recovery from a cold, I can't tell. Tiny little pill that has a good flavor for disolving on your tongue. I'll know more if I ever develop cold symptons and be able to take this product earlier.
