Ideal for wear in the office or when jogging, skiing or working out, the earphone's speakers rest comfortably on your ear's tragus (the small protuberance anterior to your ear canal), and therefore don't block the ear canal from ambient sounds. The speakers still play audio with the same clarity as conventional earbuds thanks to the neodymium magnets and magnesium acoustic housing used in their construction that can reproduce a wide frequency range (20 Hz -20,000 Hz). The anterior-ear design surpasses federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration all-day listening standards because they create less sound pres sure levels than other types of earphones-only 80 dB at the inner ear.
