Rather than attempting to build the finished dinosaur, we just use some of the pieces to build much simpler structures. My 4 and 2 year old children enjoy them (they build fairly simple structures, and imagine goes a long way).Putting them together is easy, but to pull some pieces apart they need help. There are enough pieces that we can all play, and all build different things.Most pieces are very durable, but we've broken a couple of the more fragile ones by playing irresponsibly (the 2 yr old).Easily worth the [$], would recommend to anyone.
