I discovered this by accident. Just came upon it by looking what was available for a face wash...I was using Nutrogena and I feel that it had a odd residue. Gave the Shikai a try and I loved it...I then started purchasing the rest of the items available. It is made in the usa, I used to use Olay products but they started distributing imported products in their line...they also ship out of canada and so that it appears it is made there it is not. Give Shikai try-it's worth the effort

When my local health food store stopped carrying the Shikai Borage Dry Skin Therapy products, I tried several other recommended products. Nothing comes close to the skin-nourishing, clean quality of this product! The borage really moisturizes and nourishes the skin on a deep level. My face looks younger and wrinkles and fine lines are less visible. This is my favorite!

I have to agree with the other reviewer about this cleanser and the entire line for that matter, that it burns and irritates the skin. Infact, I have tried their Vitamin C range, which has now been discontinued by the way, and with in minutes, my skin was on fire! Use with extreme caution.

I have sensitive, dry skin. I've used so many different products including pricey brands. This works very well, doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or dry.

The first time I used this I was pleased by how well it removed my makeup - didn't realize it was removing the top layer of my skin as well! My face burned and eventually the whole thing peeled. I was puzzled because I hadn't changed any other part of my routine. Once I stopped using it, my skin recovered. All I can say is "Ouch!!!" Not for dry or sensitive skin!

I found this product as a clearance item at a store, and can't believe how lucky I am that I did. As I've gotten older (40's), my skin has gotten a little drier, and much more sensitive. This cleanser is the only one I've found that cleans without making my face burn. My skin is moisturized and I don't even have to wear any makeup if I don't want to--my face still looks nice. I would recommend this to everyone.

It helps sensitive combination and acne prone skin. It is not tested on animals and does not use animal ingredients. It's very gentle and effectively cleans off makeup. Great product I have yet to find a better cleanser at any price.

I love this product. I have tried just about every cleanser on the market from products from heath food stores to department stores to drugstores. This product is such a relief for me. It is the only thing I changed in my routine and I noticed immediate relief. I love this cleanser! It seems my clogged pores are no longer there, my flaky skin is gone and my skin glows. I can't say enough.

I have very sensitive, dry skin on my face. This face wash does not irritate or over-dry, which can be a problem for me. This winter has been especially cold, which is very rough on my skin, so I was getting patches of eczema on my cheeks. The stuff I'd been using was not working well enough, and the eczema and dryness has improved greatly since switching to this wash. I am going to try the moisturizer next.
