I bought these for my sister's baby boy. She was using the old fashioned classic baby spoons from her first son who is now 20 years old. The old spoons are great as far as quality and spoon shape, however these new "soft tip" spoons give you peace of mind. You're not afraid of bumping the baby's gums with a hard metal tip. The crayon like design of the spoons are really fun for the baby too.

our little guy likes to bend things - these have cracks on the backside after about 4 months so the germs could fester if you did not notice... i ordered them again since they are cheap enough.
