This is my first use of this product. I use it over a mascara base, and have also used it alone. Very good product, no smudging, long lasting. I like it.

I really like it. I am not a pro in mascaras, but this one is easy to use, does what I want it to do and was not too expensive.

I really love the lasting power and the consistancy of this mascara. I have sensitive eyes and tend to get irrated very easily. I have been using this mascara daily. Before trying Max Factor I never really liked mascara enough to wear daily. It stays were it is put, has a good consistancy and defines my shorter lashes with just one application. Only bad thing about it is the brush gets ladden at the end with mascara so I wipe the tip with every use. This is well worth the money and effort because finding a non-waterproof mascara that is smudgeproof is like gold.

I always used department store brand mascaras, howeer I was referred to this brand and I absolutely love it! It doesn't run and gives you great long, thick lashes. I would definately recommend this product as a great "drugstore brand" mascara.

Ever since Dior discontinued its MaximEyes mascara, I have been searching and searching for that perfect mascara that would add body, curl and length to my thin lashes. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying the entire spectrum - from Chanel to Cover Girl. Finally, I decided to try this mascara and THIS IS IT! I have my new favorite. It adds huge volume with one application, the texture is smooth and lump-free, and it's easy to take off with my oil-free eye makeup remover from Garnier. YEAH! P.S. I never write online reviews but I had to with this one, in case there is someone else out there desperately looking for a perfect mascara.

I have tried just about every mascara out there from Great Lash to Dior, Great Lash being my go-to mascara for years. I then switched to Dior showstopper for about a year but got tired of how quickly it dried out - I'd have to get a new one every month and for $23 a bottle it wasn't cheap! I then decided that the Dior added too much volume for the daytime and switched back to my Great Lash. I received this 2000 calorie mascara in my Christmas stocking and tried it for the first time recentl;y and I love it!! It goes on evenly, seperates, lengthens but not too much, good for daytime use...only slight drawback is that it can smudge. Not sure if it's just me because I moisturize right before I apply but either way, I love it and will continue to use it. Goodbye Great Lash!!

This is fine, but I would buy the pink and green bottle if it was cheeper.

Bought this based on other reviews and was glad I did. Would definitely buy again. I wear contacts and sometime have a problem with mascara's but this one was great.

I bought this mascara with high hopes given the reviews I had read. While I wasn't totally disgusted with it I did feel that it could have been much better. For one too much comes out on the brush therefore making application a mess. Also while I thought it did a great job of thickening the lash it didn't do much for lengthening probably due to the quantity on brush.

Max Calorie has tiny little fibers that stick to the lashes. This is good for volume and lengthening. However there are some drawbacks: 1. Blunt eyelash ends. The fibers prevent a gradual tapering of the lash.2. Spider eyelashes (tiny fibers that stick onto the lashes stick out causing a "split end" look) that looks messy. This happens when I attempt a second coat of mascara.3. Fibers clump lashes together and the formulation is somewhat sticky and therefore may dry out quickly.One coat with maybe 5-8 strokes on top and bottom lashes does add much volume and lengthening, but the lashes do not look smooth. Not to be used for an up close and personal encounter with the boyfriend. Go for Maybelline's full&soft which defines and separates, has a smooth texture, but does not lengthen like the 2000 Calorie.
