When I had a red sty, my eye doctor recommended I use this daily for 2 weeks and then as needed. He said my eyelids were "crusty". This product makes my eyes feel refreshed and great. I still use it often when I wake up with a little "sand in my eyes". Very easy to use, just apply the foam to eyelid and lashes and leave on for about 60 seconds and rinse off. I am on my third canister and ordering more.

Cleans, but stings.
This product is milder than baby shampoo for daily cleaning of the eyelid margin, but the inclusion of tea tree oil causes stinging around sensitive skin areas.

Although you keep your eyes closed when washing with it, I was surprised that an eye care product would create a stinging or tingling sensation. I found it uncomfortable and would not purchase again.

I had a problem with sties- they kept "traveling" from one eye to another. But since the eye doctor told me to use SteriLid in the morning and in the evening, I don't have this problem anymore.

After eye surgery, eyes became sensitive and dry. No drops worked very well,and had to use several times a day for any relief. Somedays eyes really just hurt! I evidently had bacteria on my eyelids, and the baby shampoo I was using to clean eyelids did not kill the bacteria. The Steri-Lid WORKED! I used morning and night to start with, because it helped so much; I thought more would be better! It dried my eyelids a bit(became flakey), so now I only use at bedtime, then the baby shampoo in the morning. This is working great! It sometimes stings a bit, not all the time, but well worth it.
Shake well before use. To pump, tilt unit towards nozzle and press completely.
Clean fingertips with SteriLid. Rinse
Pump foam on to clean fingertips
Close eyes, and gently massage foam into lids and lashes. Avoid touching eyes directly. Leave in place for 60 seconds for maximum effectiveness
Rinse with water
Use twice a day or as directed.
