This product is great. I used the product for everyday use. The mascara went on smoothly and did not clump. The only downfall of the TARTE mascara is that it dries out somewhat quickly; I would reccommend this to friends.

Great mascara for daytime wear. The lush brush does a great job of applying the product without clumping. Helps to define and separate lashes. Doesn't add a lot of volume so I combine with another mascara for evening wear.

This is the best daily mascara I've ever used. No clumping, no goopy brush, and great definition with a touch of volume (not enough for a night out). Plus, the container is really pretty :)

As a makeup artist who advocates eco-friendly, healthy beauty for ourselves and the planet I had SUCH high hopes for this product! However, I was initially disappointed when putting it on...it adds volume, but not length and certainly not curl. Very mediocre. Mascara should add volume AND length...the two really work hand in hand to make your lashes look the best they can. The real reason I have it one star, though, is the fact that I had a allergic reaction. I've had problems with cheap drugstore mascara- Covergirl, pink-and-green tube, etc., but never a good quality mascara from a brand like Tarte. This gave me the classic itchy, puffy eye allergic reaction. I'm so disappointed! I havent been able to wear makeup for two days now because of this reaction. If you have sensitive eyes I would caution you- STAY AWAY!

I have very sensitive eyes that itch often and are easily irritated. This mascara doesn't seem to irritate them. It looks very nice, lengthens and thickens the lashes. My only complaint is that the mascara is a tad dry, however that's better than sticky, nothing is worse than sticky mascara.

This mascara doesn't work well enough to justify spending [$]. I was not impressed. I used it for a few days to give it a chance, but in the end I threw it out and went to a drugstore to buy the pink & green tube for $4.00. Even the makeup artist at a Macy's cosmetics counter recommended using the pink & green over the $30 department store mascara.

A great natural mascara. I have tried lots of other brands of "natural" mascara, but this one is great because it doesn't smudge throughout the day.

In my quest to find more natural cosmetics that are not tesed on animals, this is by far the best mascara I have found to date. I have tried other natural, cruelty free mascaras (which are hard to find) and they were clumpy and difficult to apply. This mascara went on cleanly and lengthened my lashes. The volume wasn't the best, but I only applied one coat and haven't tried it for night-time wear yet. I will definitely purchase again.

I was looking for a nice natural mascara for a long time. When I first used this one I was more than happy! It doesn't sting my sensitive eyes and makes my eyelashes look beautiful, naturally!

I have a hard time finding quality mascaras that give me the vavavoom, doe-eye, Audrey Hepburn lashes I love without burning my eyes when wet or flaking off throughout the day. I was searching for a more natural mascara that wasn't horrible to use. This was the only one I found after researching that had high reviews of acting like a traditional mascara minus being a disaster to apply like many natural mascaras. I tried it out and was impressed with the rich color. It doesn't clump, doesn't run or flake, removes very easily with water (WITHOUT burning) and feels very natural. I actually forgot I was wearing it the other night. My one and only complaint is that it doesn't thicken enough for my liking. It does add nice volume and length, but I like an almost false eyelash look without false lashes. Now, I will say that this is very versatile in that one coat will produce nice definition for "daytime" wear and layering the coats will produce a more thicker, "nighttime" look with ease. While it does produce similar results to what I'm looking for, it's just not quite there yet. So I will continue to buy this until I find my perfect, doe-eye mascara that doesn't burn. It is still a very impressive mascara for being more natural, which garners huge points. I would definitely recommend as it's very comfortable and high quality!
